Butler grad transfer OL Tommy Kennedy chooses the Canes

LOL one tweet of Nesta clapping in his face and now it is full blown hysteria. Nesta was clapping in people's faces and talking **** in the Wisconsin game too. The kid is talker. That isn't any indication of how Kennedy is doing overall.

You always take a kid like this when you have a need. Oklahoma, Texas and Auburn wanted him because it's low risk. If he can't handle the transition, he's gone in a year. If he's good, you have a starter. If he's in between, you have depth.

Most of us said was that his strength was a concern and that he would be tested early. So far, he's struggled. Let's see if he goes in the tank or improves.

Well he came in as an expectant starter at Tackle to now running the second team center position.

I fully expected this early on with Kennedy.

He has to get use tot he level of play....

Would definately see improvement by the end of Spring. If he locks down the Center spot or provides depth that is definately good enough.

Ive always stated i think we need ANOTHER GRAD TRANSFER TACKLE. Thats where they should be pushing in the portal right now.

****, I highly doubt that no matter how much they love him. Bolden might be the best safety on campus when he shows up.

Problem is there really isnt any. Find me a G5 starter in the portal not some 3 year bench warmer at a P5 school.

It’s still early but I always thought he was going to struggle early at this level. His strength has always been a concern. Never thought he would play ahead of Scaife/Campbell, but If he can give us good backup depth and C and T, it can allow the incoming freshmen to play at most 4 games and still maintain their much needed redshirt.

That being said the dude needs to spend a serious amount of time with Feely and take a nice PED ****tail. He’s in terrible shape. His arms look like old “Nana” arms, all he needs is to wear a mumu and the hide the cash in his bra.

Ehh last thing we need is the NCAA drug task force to take their attention of Clemson and onto Miami.

@gogeta4 , I believe we will push for a Tackle via the Portal. I just feel Manny and Co. are waiting until after Spring camps are over, and kids who aren’t starting want to transfer out. Could be a great way to pickup additional OL help, and depending on who it is, someone that could come in and start immediately.

I do think Scaife and Donaldson are set for the left side, not completely sold on the right side as of yet. Gaynor or Kennedy will hold down the Center position. Whoever plays the right side, I hope Coach Barry gets them settled in before Summer and Fall camp so they have time to gel collectively and learn to play as one whole unit.

That makes no sense, you’re saying someone can’t be strong because they come from a smaller weight room?

The bigger concern should be someone going from a non-scholarship FCS school to a power 5 FBS trying to adjust. He’d be have a major adjustment at whatever school he went to, even if he went to a scholarship FCS school.
 
It’s practice number 4. He comes from butler where he wasn’t used to this competition. He hasn’t been in the wright room for more than 3 months. You better hope he doesn’t turn it around or imma make it my mission to have you banned. He has like 5 months
