No point in hiring Rumph if he can't pull Heritage kids. Could have hired a great defensive mind or a real ace recruiter. Hugely disappointing.

If Shaq's coach would have gotten a job at UF he would have still come to UM...can't hold the coach responsible for a kid's choice...

Sure, if you want to generalize everything about their recruitments to the fullest extent. About the only similarity is that they both play high school football.

Sure, if you want to generalize everything about their recruitments to the fullest extent. About the only similarity is that they both play high school football.

I guess. Thing is burns dad doesn't post here and burns has relatively kept it quiet so we dont know how he feels or what he's thinking. How can we blame rumph based off no information on the situation?

We haven't had any traction with burns since 2014 and have not been one of his top schools since probably his sophmore year yet you think just because we hire coach rumph we immediately jump into his top 3 schools just like that? Recruiting don't work like that

Yep. Hiring Rumph was either a colossally stupid decision by Richt or a plan C decision after Diaz couldnt find a DB coach to come onboard.

Hiring Jon Richt as a nepotic hire is one thing. Fine, use up one position coach for your boy. But then using up THREE MORE COACHING POSITIONS (Hartley, Rumph, Banda) for unproven coaches is a huge problem, and the biggest beef i've had with Richt so far.

My boy golden? Man foh, yeah it should make a difference but you also got to include factors like McFadden being at Fsu and Michel and Mckenzie being at Uga, who he is very close with with too

he's a heavy UF lean and players at FSU and UGA are factors? clearly your logic is still shaken due to not recovering from Al's firing

He's not a heavily lean to UF, reports from last week from the gators 247 writer even said Fsu lead,and Uga was up there with him after his ov up there
