Didn't Arkansas get Alex Collins, who had never visited there, just because they hired the RB coach who was close with his HS coach and had recruited him at Wisconsin (Partridge?)? Gotta agree with Chise here that it's pretty crazy that we are the "home team" here AND we have the kid's HS coach on the staff, who he just won a state championship with, and we can't even get a visit.

I don't get it... when he was coaching there he never pushed any kids to his alma matter and now he seems to be taking a passive approach with his own kids too. Burns is the most heralded prospect in all of SFL this year and you would think you'd hear either "Rumph going to UM definitely makes a big difference for me" Or "Rumph has been on my son hard since he was hired, telling him he has to take a visit cause the U is back".....

Maybe the kid just doesn't want to go to Miami. It's very possible. Yall gotta take them green/orange shades off sometimes and look at reality.

You want kids to flock to Miami that hasn't been good since 03 it's the year 2016. We've been average as **** for most of these kids lives.

Its very telling when his own coach cant get his trust and even get a courteousy visit. I will lower my expectations for Rumph's recruiting talents

that's not really fair is it? We have been terrible for the last 12 years and Golden cost kids like Chick Millions In the NFL. Its going to take time and once they seem real improvement by not only winning by top draft picks it will hard to get in period. We will not have enough scholarships for them all at that point.. Winning is great but $$$ is their number 1 concern IMO.. We win and produce the flood gates will open.

I am not going to judge him off the AH kids from this class. WAY too late in the game. Buddy was hired as our DB coach a week ago and yall think he can sway kids who had absolutely ZERO interest in us to all of a sudden come? Wishful thinking.

Now I WILL judge him off the two DB prospects that will be coming out of AH soon...Tyson Campbell and Surtain Jr...if we are not in the game with those two then something is up. DBs at the position you are coaching should be open and shut.. Campbell is a stud. But I heard LSU is his leader right now..

I will also judge him off Slaton. The big time OL. We have to keep him home.
