Defensive end Brian Burns (Plantation, Fla./American Heritage) has a "very nice" official visit to Georgia this weekend, per his father Brian Burns, Sr.
"I think he really enjoyed it," Burns said. "The part I know he liked the most was how Georgia told him how they are planning to use him coming off the edge."
How does the father feel his son's recruitment is shaping up?
"This is just me but I think it's Georgia and Florida State with Florida three," Burns, Sr. said.
The Crystal Ball reads 75-percent for Florida, 17-percent for Georgia and eight-percent for Miami.
His father said Burns still plans to officially visit Florida this weekend and Florida State January 29.
Will Hurricanes cornerbacks coach Mike Rumph, who was Burns' high school coach, get an official visit for Miami?
"I doubt it," Burns Sr. said. "I don't think there's enough time yet unless they can make something happen midweek."
The four-star prospect is ranked as the nation's No. 6 weak side defensive end and the No. 15 prospect in Florida in the 2016 class by 247Sports.com Composite Rankings.
274Sports.com could have more from Brian Burns on his Georgia official visit once he returns to Florida this evening.
