Breaking down the Gators

We're easily 2 deep against UFag's 2 CB's, 2 deep is solid on the OL against UF's starters. No way UF's DL holds up against that battering the entire game. Plus you start using the big backs to smash that MLB and by the 4th quarter the Duke will be loose. What I'm saying is I don't believe for a minute UF has the depth on defense to stay with UM on offense. Just don't see it.
The thing is UF is more than just 2 CB's at the CB spot Roberson Purifoy Riggs Poole VH3 and you could see Watkins play there some as well. After watching Miami in the spring you think there is a decent back on the team not named Duke? The one thing I am sure of is the depth on the DL and secondary for UF now LB is a different story. How many points you think Miami is going to score?

Enough to win.

The oline is missing their left side. Yes, you have a couple underclassmen that will move in but, they seem untested. A couple of transfers from Maryland and Nebraska and all of a sudden the oline is stacked? Your center and right guard are good and experienced. Dunker is gone.
Thanks for the conversation.
DJ Humphies and Max Garcia > Xavie Nixon and James Wilson

Don't even think that Wilson or Nixon were drafted. Don't know how good they actually were.
They were not drafted which is all you need to know. Humphries and Garcia will be drafted when it is their time.

the main questions are how much better will Miami be at running the football and stopping the run than last year

we havent been able to "stop the run" in about 7 years now. the gators running game doesnt exactly scare the **** out of me though.

if the run d and depth hasnt improved UF will run for 250+

the depth will have obviously improved as lost nothing on defense, only added a couple of young guys who are presumably playmakers. 150 or less is more likely IMO.

passing yards will be the ultimate key. if driskell goes 7-15 with 110 yards and a couple picks them gatuwhsz are toast.

My predicted stats for our D
10-21 driskel, 137 yards, and we allow 196 yards on the ground, we also get two pics and maybe Denzel smashes the ball out of jones once

Until we can beat UNC, UVA and other bad ACC teams 10 out of 10 games (instead of 0-1 out of 10), It won't matter how bad the Gaytors are, because any half *** SEC team would be 10-0 against UNC, UVA, GT, et al, and crush treams that get consistantly outplayed and outcoached vs same.

We haven't proven for one second that we are even within light years of a half *** UF team with a dullard coach. Yet.
