Hey. You guys lay off the OP. At least he didn't plagiarize. Who cares about accuracy.
Since for all intents and purposes, UF is our first game of the season, let's scout out our opponent.
UF is probably the 6th best team in the SEC. I would rank them
1. Alabama
2. Texas A&M
3. Georgia
4. LSU
5. South Carolina
6. Florida
7. Ole Miss
8. Everyone else
Coaches:
Head coach is Will Muschamp, the former coach in waiting under major failure Mack Brown. He's a native of Gainesville. Muschamp was also Nick Saban's defensive coordinator at LSU. Muschamp is a brilliant defensive mind, but his offensive skill is questionable. He's also a huge douche.
Offensive coordinator is Brent Pease, formerly of Boise State. Florida is trying to cash in on Boise's offensive success in the past decade, but we'll see if that works. It didn't work out too well for Colorado.
Defensive coordinator is DJ Durkin, who is just Muschamp's yes-man.
Returning Starters:
They return ten on offense and four on defense, as well as their punter.
Offense:
Jeff Driskel returns at QB and should be solid. He was picked only 5 times out of 245 attempts as a sophomore, and, as we saw with our own Stephen Morris, the junior year can be a big leap for a quarterback.
Running Back Matt Jones should be a breakout player for UF. The kid was a stud in high school, looked like a stud the little I saw him last year, and in any case, is better than Mike Gillislee.
Florida's receivers suck balls, which is funny, because they're in the state of Florida and receivers literally grow on trees. Quinton Dunbar is probably their best wideout, and he probably wouldn't even start at Miami. They have no talent at TE.
Florida's offensive line is deep and talented. They added two transfers this offseason with D1 starting experience from Nebraska and Wake Forest, so that should help their depth.
Takeaways - The matchup to watch will be UF's offensive line vs Miami's defensive line, because that could be a potential mismatch. If Matt Jones can get going against us, it'll be a long night. This is one of those teams I'd rather play with a lead than play from behind because they'll wear you down with the run next year.
Defense:
Florida might have one of the best pass rushes in college football next year. Dante Fowler and Jonathan Bullard are coming off the edge. Their sack leader from 2011, Ronald Powell, should be back from an ACL tear as well, so we'll see how he transitions back. Dominique Easley will likely play tackle, another player who can really get to the quarterback.
UF's interior defense is their weakness in that it's unproven. We'll have to see how Easley transitions to the inside.
Linebacker Antonio Morrison had an impressive freshman year, so he should be one to look out for. The rest of Florida's front seven is, frankly, solid but unspectacular.
Florida's cornerbacks are elite, headlined by future first-rounder Louchiz Purifoy, and solid contributors Marcus Robinson and Jaylen Watkins.
Florida's safeties are a weakness for them. Muschamp has been shuffling things around this spring trying to find the right combination.
Takeaway - You beat this defense by running up the middle on them. In that way, the key to the game offensively might just be finding that second back that can pound it inside. Let's hope Gus Edwards is ready to roll. You can't just let them tee off on Stephen Morris all night.
Special Teams:
UF has nobody at kicker and this should be a weakness for them. UF has the best punter in the nation in Kyle Christy. UF's return game is good.
Overview
Their offense should be improved with their QB one year older, more talent at RB, and a deeper offensive line.
The keys to victory will be whether we're able to establish a running game and sustaining drives, not falling behind early, and containing Matt Jones.
How many guys is UM going to play on offense? During the entire game 19-23 players should play on D for UFThe transfer from Nebraska is an absolute slob & needs to drop weight. He's just a big body. Matt Jones gained 80% of his yardage in late 4th qtr play after the opposing DL's were beat to ****! How we'll beat them is up the middle & mismatches with our TE's.
We will run a spread against them because its what Louisville did & UFag had no answer for it. Our OL will be one of the best & deepest OL's UFag will see all year.
Lineup their two awesome CB's against Herb Waters, R Scott & Dorsett in the slot, with Walford at TE & Duke in the backfield
Next play:
Bring in Hurns, Sandland inside & R Scott with Hagens & Gus in the backfield & shove it right down their throats.
Problem being for them is we are way deeper offensively then they're defensively. Their offense is going to be flairs, screens & run plays. Pretty easy to prepare for when they're that one-demensional. I like them at -2. Easy money

Not a bad break down.
-Easley played inside as a sophomore and in some games last year it shouldn't be much of a transition.
-Roberson is UF's best CB Purifoy is the best athlete out of the 3
- Ronald Powell will play SAM LB and the DE spot behind Fowler
- It looks like Watkins will move to safety
i cant see why people dont know Roberson might me the best CB in CFB next year
It is just Purifoy makes bigger game changing plays Roberson is extremely consistent and teams go away from him he added some weight in the off season and is up to 195 nowNot a bad break down.

Florida will be talented, but not as talented as last season. They gave up I believe the most sacks in the SEC last year. Matt Jones will be a solid back. Trey Burton, their H-Back/TE/FB/WR/Wildcat QB is a player. Driskel still has a ways to go. Dude was 8-20 in their spring game/practice. ( They didn't have a full up spring scrimmage since because their oline was so badly depleted) Driskel only threw 1 pass that went over 15 yards....and on that play the receiver turned a 7 yard completion into a 15 yard play.
BOTTOM LINE....STOP THE RUN AND CONTAIN DRISKEL WHILE WARCHING WHERE BURTON LINES UP.
Defense.
They will have a solid pass rush. Easley and Fowler are proven players and Bullard will be a handful as well. Powell is coming off successive ACL surgeries, so he is a bit of a mystery. Damien Jacobs at DT is a talent as well. Overall they are talented in the Dline, but losing Floyd hurts.
LBs
Morrison is a player while everyone elseis an unknown. Losing Bostic and Jenkins hurt.
DBs
Roberson and Purifoy are players. Purifoy will also be playing some receiver. Losing Matt Elam and their other safety hurts. Matt Elam almost singlehandedly won the LSU game for them last year with his play.
Our best bet is to go 5 wide and force Florida to cover us. We have the players to do this....and it limits Florida's ability to blitz/use more rushers. Stephen Morris has enough mobility to run someif he has to. I'm betting UFag will do their damndest to stop our run, but I believe this is a game where Stephen Morris will put himself into the national spotlight with a stellar performance.

TEs include a weakling, a slow blocker, and two converted DEs. Just pitiful.

This is a substance board.
**** the gators. I hope we break driskel in half with that crappy OLINE they have.
I cannot even explain my hate for UF. It trumps everyone including fsu.

The thing is UF is more than just 2 CB's at the CB spot Roberson Purifoy Riggs Poole VH3 and you could see Watkins play there some as well. After watching Miami in the spring you think there is a decent back on the team not named Duke? The one thing I am sure of is the depth on the DL and secondary for UF now LB is a different story. How many points you think Miami is going to score? We're easily 2 deep against UFag's 2 CB's, 2 deep is solid on the OL against UF's starters. No way UF's DL holds up against that battering the entire game. Plus you start using the big backs to smash that MLB and by the 4th quarter the Duke will be loose. What I'm saying is I don't believe for a minute UF has the depth on defense to stay with UM on offense. Just don't see it.
