Yes, and Chris was important at Mason, too. But he has to have a breakout year or in my opinion is the risk is too great. I'd rather go with a guy who has won his conference multiple times at a mid-major or has demonstrated he wins at wherever he has been.

Shaka Smart was probably the best/lowest risk hire Texas could have made.

There are no certainties in this game… and I would prefer Caputo 10,000,000x over Anthony Grant.

The Drake coach is intriguing but a higher risk hire than Caputo.

Caputo is nothing like JD or Manny. Also, the collapse happened AFTER he left.
