Brandon Innis

Not sure we know who Innes is as a player yet. Sure- there are no real game stats that show him balling. But consider who he is behind in that room.
Smiff Egbuka and Tate all are starters here at Miami. OSU wr room is stacked with NFL guys. Their 4th or 5th wr could be wr 1 here. We need to replace X. Maybe it’s Toney, maybe Ray ray, but is it wild and crazy to think Inness would be a good option?

Jameson Williams was a WR4 on Ohio State when they were STACKED at the position and was an easy WR1 on Alabama as a result.

Williams is also the worst (relatively speaking of course) of those players in the league so far...so it tracks...but that doesn't mean that doesn't play up to WR1 on pretty much any other team.

Ohio State and LSU are producing WRs at a DIFFERENT rate right now. You give their transfers the benefit of the doubt.

Why? Dude has done less than Ray Ray from the same class, and Ray Ray probably shouldn't even be here much longer lol. We need a true #1 WR (not in the build, just a literal #1 target) to pair with Jojo and Daniels, and hopefully Carr, Toney, and the other young guys like Chance step up...

I mean sure if he'd basically be free NIL wise and given we are moving to 105 scholarships, I wouldn't say no... Not like it's going to harm us having a former top recruit trying to actually light a fire under his career, particularly because he probably seems like a solid/good locker room guy, but .... still it's pretty much irrelevant. No different than Karnley take, except without basically any actual tape and true developmental prospect or great trait/skill set to really use as the driving factor.
Well, 1) he wouldn’t be a WR 1 take, and 2) it’s OU WR room that he’s sitting on the bench. The type of WR talent in that room that had Jameson Williams sitting on the bench, u know the guy that had 9 rec in a season before going to Alabama. Despite how good our WR room was this year it’s a far cry from one of the best if not the best WR room in the country. Ray Ray is not sitting behind the type of talent Innis is.

If Innis wants to be here u bring that man here, I doubt his NIL would be anything crazy. He hasn’t done much and would obviously prioritize looking for an opportunity to play so he could get drafted. U can use him as a slot/HB.

With all that being said, Miami shouldn’t waste their time. I would like a dynamic slot wr/return man, maybe Carr, Toney, or Upshaw surprise us, and an outside WR1.

The whole inn is talking is funny cause he AINT coming here or jumping in the portal. So all the back n forth is for nothing.

He, Tate, and JJ will be their top wrs next year just like they planned it out.

We need to add some height to the room imo with more definite production for sure if we can

I asked Ohio State WR Carnell Tate about the transfer portal after the game, he smiled and said, 'I'm just going to celebrate with my team.'

J Smith is a True Freshman

Carnell Tate is a Sophomore

Brandon Innis is a Sophomore

How come a guy from the same recruiting class as him & a younger guy played ahead of him?

He wasn't passed up by Upperclassmen Seniors & is waiting his turn. Is not registering to yall that he doesn't play because he's not that good?

Or he’s just good and they are really good. Does JG, Horton, Brown, or X start there? X has the best chance to get reps there and even that’s not guaranteed. Thats the type of talent that’s in that OU room.
