Citrus Bowl does suck as a stadium. That place makes the Orange Bowl look like Cowboy Stadium.

Quick Canes update: If Chick-fil-A, expected foe is Georgia. If Russell Athletic, Louisville. And honestly, I'm not sure now which it'll be.
please be Louisville! Gurley will go for 300. Teddy is overrated as ****
Georgia has been completely decimated with injuries, and they lost their QB Murray to an ACL. They would give us the best chance of winning.
Yeah I thought the same against LSU in 2005 with their back up QB.
Thanks for bringing up that suppressed memory. My worst day as a hurricanes fan, right next to Virginia shutting us out in the orange bowl
Only bad thing about UGA is that it will be a home game for them in the GA Dome.

It would be, though interestingly UGA has a surprisingly poor record in the Dome.

Because they've played #1 Alabama or #1 LSU or #5 Boise State, not unranked Miami.
The only people happy about this *** matchup are the Louisville people. They gain everything.... they get to come to Florida, they get to send their recruiters out and pick off the partial qualifiers or whoever they usually get, they get the opportunity to beat a marquis opponent like Miami.
What does Miami get out of this? If we beat Louisville, nobody will care.... it's a ****ty Big East team and a basketball school. If by some chance we lose to Louisville, then we just lost to a big east team and a basketball school.
This is *** all around. I want a real matchup. Why can't we play Georgia or something like that?
What does this even mean? Georgia is 8-4. Georgia barely beat Georgia Tech yesterday. UGA is not a better matchup than Texas A&M or Louisville. Just because they have the name "Georgia" doesn't mean they're better than Louisville. Heck, UCF is probably better than UGA, especially without Murray.
By the way, I agree that A&M is just as much of a marquis matchup as Georgia would be. I just think Georgia would be a more competitive game whereas A&M is a notch above us right now.
The ACC will not lobby for a UL Miami match up. Miami opens next year at home vs ULBowl games are about filling seats, so that money is spent locally. The tv money is already guaranteed. You fill seats by having an attractive matchup, and/or having geographically desirable teams. Duke alumni will travel to Atlanta for their first meaningful bowl game in a long time. Miami fans will travel to Orlando, not so much to Atlanta for a non BCS game. I think the ACC would also want a Miami Louisville matchup, and will lobby for that.
