You know how disinterested and hungover Manziel would be for the Chik Fil A bowl?

I'm not sure why people think TAMU would kill us. Nobody has killed us throwing the ball this year, people have been doing it by running. TAMU is not going to take the ball out of Manziel's hands, even if it means winning the game. I'd much rather play TAMU than any of the other SEC opponents.

While our run defense has been bad, I'm not sure how you could say that people haven't killed us throwing the ball. Driskel and Renner both threw for almost 300. Price, Winston and Thomas all threw for over 300, and all 3 of those guys basically picked us apart. Savage from Pitt also threw for almost 300 (some of it in garbage time). Sure, Duke and UVA didn't throw well against us, but they didn't have to.

Also, let's not pretend that Manziel's passing is the only reason that they would carve up our D. Their top 4 RBs all average more than 4.5 YPC, and Manziel has run for almost 700 yards. Our defense has made poor running teams like Duke and Pitt look like powerful running teams, and TAMU is better statistically than either of those teams. It's a scary prospect having Manziel scrambling around against our defense, looking to either run or throw.

I completely agree that our offense would have its way as well, since their D is terrible, but I think that Manziel/Evans/Molina has a clear advantage over Morris/Coley/Crawford. I don't think TAMU would kill us, but I think their offense would carve up our D big time.

Georgia has been completely decimated with injuries, and they lost their QB Murray to an ACL. They would give us the best chance of winning.

I would LOVE to play uGA.

Their fans are some of the worst around.

Their defense makes ours look stout and they're without a QB that would've shredded us. Gurley is good but always banged up.

Most overrated program this side of FSu and Nueter Dame.

don't get me wrong i'd rather be in the peach bowl, but seeing as I live in orlando...i'm not complaining about a Russell Athletic bid

Dude that bowl sucks. They will play 3-4 high school championship games there the week of the bowl game and the field will be a mess.

Dude, the field was replaced the year after our last bowl game there with artificial turf. And also for the record the state title games are this weekend and next.

The good news is that my dad's friend works for the citrus bowl and says that they're really hoping for the Miami-Lousiville matchup so that means there's a 0% chance of us slipping to the Sun Bowl, so nobody has to worry about traveling to El Paso haha

Thanks for bringing up that suppressed memory. My worst day as a hurricanes fan, right next to Virginia shutting us out in the orange bowl
