no way that chick-fil-a bowl takes duke. Duke has no one to sell to the public on their team.
 
Shame that people will still want to keep Coach D even after Teddy and the Dade kids rape our D live in front of a national audience.

Not too sure the Chick Fil A would choose Duke over Miami either if it really is about generating money and putting together the "sexier" matchup.
 
DeadPoets has got to be one of the worst "fans" on this site. Not many can still defend our DC but to openly cheer against your team is pathetic. I could be wrong but I would bet you would be hard pressed to find anything positive that he has contributed to this board. I am sure that the players that you are supposedly a fan of really appreciate finding humor in the fact that they may struggle against Louisville.

I'm almost positive that the defense won't get gashed in the Bowl Game.

This (defensive) staff's issue is rigidity and inability to adjust in game. The staff on the whole, however, is solid in the department of preparation.

We've generally seen really solid defensive performances when they have extra time to prepare.

Now if Louisville revamps the playbook for the bowl game (entirely possible), we could be in some trouble.
 
The only people happy about this *** matchup are the Louisville people. They gain everything.... they get to come to Florida, they get to send their recruiters out and pick off the partial qualifiers or whoever they usually get, they get the opportunity to beat a marquis opponent like Miami.

What does Miami get out of this? If we beat Louisville, nobody will care.... it's a ****** Big East team and a basketball school. If by some chance we lose to Louisville, then we just lost to a big east team and a basketball school.

This is *** all around. I want a real matchup. Why can't we play Georgia or something like that?

Because we didn't take care of business and beat the teams we should have beat (VT & Duke).

Had we beaten them we'd probably be going to the Chick-fil-a instead of Duke. Also, newsflash, Dook is a basketball school and they beat us already.

Did Georgia take care of business? They lost a ton of games. What about Tennessee? There's a lot of football schools who had crap years who we can play. Not fuggin Louisville. We'll get like 2 people in Kentucky watching the game.
