No good coach would come here because they are afraid they will be fired if the consider going to another job. If Butch Davis comes back, does Blake James fire him if he interviews for a NFL job? I'd rather have a coach other schools want than Shannon or Coker who nobody bother to try and steal.

2. What proof is there that Al Golden is trying to get the Penn State job? Just rumors on the internet. If that was true Golden would already be at Penn State, Jimbo Fisher would be at Texas and Kirby Smart will be at FSU.

The only coach I can ever think of who was fired for consider another job was jeff jagodzinski, and in that case Boston College made a huge mistake because they haven't been half as good since he left.

This. We can fire Dorito and not a **** thing Al and his buyout can do about it. If he wants to quit fine and we wouldn't owe him a dime of his buyout. Unless he has it in his contract that all coaching decisions are his. Which I wouldn't doubt our admin allowed to happen.

BC's AD fired Jags because he told Jags not to interview for another job and Jags did it anyway. Jags was a very good coach, but he benefited tremendously by having Matt Ryan as QB. It would be hard to say if Jags would have had the same success once Matt went to the NFL.

I am sorry you want to punish Al Golden for being a candidate for another job. That should make the job really attractive for the next hire.

If you want Blake James to fire No'D, I am all for it but he cannot do it as retaliation for the Golden's interview with Penn State. It will make James look petty and hurt Miami in the long run
