Blake James, exceeded expectations in every way. BRAVO!!!

So we're rewarding a guy who took way too long to fire a bum? It took an absolute massacre to finally have him fired. IPF and all the stuff moving with the football program is because of Richt.... You can say James had a part in hiring Richt and he probably did but I don't think it was that tough to find the right candidate after Richt was fired.
Probably the best thing we did was waiting to fire golden. Don't know who we would have ended up with if they did it earlier since they weren't serious about butch Davis coming to Miami especially with shalala at helm...

All good things in football have happened because Mark Richt was fired and wanted the job here. All good things in basketball have happened because Jim Larranaga begged for the job. Don't think that any person from the administration is responsible for our success in these two sports right now. It has been blind luck, let's just be grateful and roll with it. Do NOT thank Blake James or Frenk for it and don't blame Shalala for it. You're indicating your lack of understanding of what actually happens when you do. How you guys blame Shalala is beyond me. We left the Big East and Nike under her, leading to massive windfalls in cash for athletics. No **** we have money to hire coaches and build new facilities now.

Blake James is a hardcore motherfūkking boss. Dude has stones the size of cantaloupes. Don't stand in the way of the biggest swinging dīck in the athletic department or you'll get face-whipped to a pulp. Go, Blake go!

I know some were skeptical and for good reason. But dude is DOING THE DAMM THANG!!! From the post Clemson game GTFO!!! to Golden, to hiring CMR to telling some stupid bih at App St. to eat copious quantities of D because the fraud she stated was BS to the Adidas deal and now this state of the art IPF. I know some of y'all swing from Nike's nads, but I have 2 kids in college and Adidias is hot in these skreets. Leveraging that and this IPF, Blake is exceeding expectations like a ****. Well done sir, well done!!!

I guess you can thank Donna for her decision to hire him. I think he reaps the credit but all of what you mentioned is a larger reflection of the BOT's "vote" to be a championship football program again.

Yea, anyone who tries to say Shalala was bad for the program doesn't understand what really happens at the []_[]. I think the BOTs have become more realistic and upped their level of commitment to winning. As far as Shalala, most people take that tacky narrative of her being a football-hating troll--when in fact--she's been way more supportive of athletics than Tad Foote ever was.

Shalala micromanaged the **** out of our program. If you don't think her guidance and influence didn't hurt our program you're delusional. It's no coincidence that prior and after her time here the football program was heading in the right direction.

That being said, Blake is doing a much better job but I'll never forgive him for the **** he pulled and said last year.

If I'm being delusional I'll own up to it. But I'll need more specifics.

When Shalala left BJ became a boss, period

Nah, she doesn't operate that way. BJ had more $$ and things fell right with Richt. Your statement is woefully uninformed, inaccurate, and it shows you've never really spent time around the university.

Shalala wanted Barry Alvarez in 2001. So remember that every time you repeat that flaccid narrative.

B.S. Again, you're on the outside looking in with that type of tacky argument. If she was so heavy-handed then we would have hired Barry Alvarez in 2001. And if you think the University President has so much say over the football program then how did we win 5 national championships under Tad Foote? Someone notoriously conservative and unsupportive of the program.

You are as wrong as wrong gets in this post. donna shalala was all about public relations over substance with total control directly by her. She told al golden not to recruit heavily from south Florida. Sure you can say she wanted UM to win in football but her actions created an environment where it was impossible....and she knew it.
