Oh, so now it's about "neutral" colors. Well, beige/khaki is considered neutral. So I guess that brings us back to my past comment about us having a nice khaki uniform.
White is fine, as it is one of our colors. Black is not.
They'll never wear a khaki/beige uniform, because it wouldn't look good on the field/court. That's the difference between your obsession w/this khaki nonsense you pulled out of your ****, and the team actually wearing neutrals that will look good with our colors and logos on the field/court.
I can agree that black is not one of our main colors--that's a fact. However, if they make a cool uniform that's a Black base color and it has our main Orange/Green/White in it...then guess what? It's probably going to be worn on the field, not matter how hotly you protest it like we're breaking some major traditions. As long as we're wearing Orange/Green/White, we're not breaking traditions...we're trying different things, and catering to the players' tastes.
You'd likely have a stroke if they decided to do a special breast cancer awareness uniform (see the Kayne Farquharson thread), and intermingled pink into the uniforms somehow. But...if the kids wanted to do it, and the proceeds of sales went to a good cause...we would do it. You can take your tradition and go beat off to it in the corner. The rest of us will (hopefully) enjoy what comes out.
