Is he transferring? Apparently a former juco teammate of his is claiming that sandland is leaving. I think he could have a huge role next year

Hopefully not but he was very under utilized this year. The TE situation was not handled very well, IMO!!!
 
Wouldn't surprise me at all. Seriously, if he can't beat out Clive Walford then he wouldn't have been much use to us anyways. The question becomes why couldn't he beat out Walford? Was he honestly not as good, or did the coaching staff just make a poor choice in starting personnel.
 
Walford is solid. He's not of the Franks/ Shockey caliber but he gets the job done.

I think he only has one more year? why would he transfer he is going to get a lot of reps...next year..should be featured this year
 
why would he leave when the next years QB will live and Die with TE's routes. Morris had a touch problems that's why those intermediate routes didn't work that well for him. But Williams will look to the TE more often then not, which will keep the chains moving.

Also kid seemed real happy on other players TDs

Not saying he cant be a good teammate and want to leave at the same time, but I'd be surprised if he left

LOL.... who said he was transferring? Everyone and their outlandish claims on this board...... out of control.
 
He was crowned before playing a down. He said himself it was tough adjusting to the speed coming from juco. He couldn't beat out Walford or Cleveland either. I'm hoping we see something out of him before he leaves.

I didn't talk to another former Juco teammate who claims he was staying. I can't justify my assertion either.

It's not a question of whether or not he could beat out Warlord. Our TE's were very under utilized this entire season. Last year too. Sandland would be a very TE in the right system. Whether it was Morris not being able to locate him through his progressions or Coley not calling the plays, who knows.

This, I do not understand the bashing of Walford he made a lot of big plays and when he got the ball was more times than not a first down or TD. Both of the TEs should get a lot of reps next year regardless of who is the starting QB.

Beau's teammate from JuCo apparently. I saw the same tweet as I was browsing that idiot MaxFiles twitter since someone brought it up in the recruiting board. That guys is so dumb.

But anyways this kid tweeted at him saying that Beau is transferring. Don't know if lts legit at all. And Beau will be getting HUGE reps next year so him transferring as a senior just to have to sit out a year just sounds illogical.
 
If I had to guess based on eligibility alone I'm rolling with 99.9% chance that he's not going anywhere.
