Battle's OSU Visit

Right now. If they take Cross, Woodie, and Booth then he may be the odd man out. They're signing a small class this year, and DB is a major need but they can't take more than 5-6 and they already have 3 committed with Cross looking likely. He's a take, but he may not be if he waits until NSD (although I do not know what his timeframe is)
They aren’t taking woodie over Gant. And booth will go to auburn or clemson

Man I miss the george smith days where STA kids would commit on NSD and non of this drama ****

Not that this kid is drama I just feel like he'll commit to OSU but continue to flirt with the hometown team and hopefully we win out

Work the heavy bag squeezing it.

Agree on Booth. Many inside their program feel Woodie has a spot if he chooses to take it. If it came down to Gant vs Woodie, who knows? But I've heard that Woodie is a take whenever he wants in, if he wants in. Haven't heard that on Gant. I still am fully confident Gant will sign with FSU, just saying if he drags his feet too long there's a chance he's not in the class. Just my $0.02.

He can commit today, tomorrow, next week or next month... THAT doesn't mean nothing, Miami will keep RECRUITING him and we eventually get him back on campus!!

MIAMI has plenty of time.. Let beat LSU then watch how this Surge19'class start to reshape!!
That sounds good but when is the last time we flipped a kid from a school that prioritized him?

Our class needs to be taking shape before the season, not during. We will most likely have to wait for 4-5 kids on NSD. Get these top kids early so they can help recruit.

I don't get why they'd panic and take Nunn if they miss on Battle.

Nunn isn't good enough to play here. He's an average athlete at best and not a difference maker. Plus you can flip him Dec. 19 if you really want

Yep it's a real shame. When's the last time OSU had to "steal" a prospect that went to high school in Columbus (or in a 50 mile radius) from another school that was more than 1000 miles away?

The #1 recruit in Ohio went to Clemson last year.

I feel like if we get Battle you focus on Stevenson as the other safety and switch gears and let MAR being the second WR of the class on paper. That’s a win all the way around.

Awesome strategy. Too bad the coaches haven’t thought of that.

Let me reiterate, when is the last time we flipped a kid from a TOP school that prioritized them? I'm not talking about a school that was sorta' on the fence with a kid and was leaning in another direction.

How often does that actually happen period though? I feel like you’re creating an unarguable point based on outliers which only hurts your side of the debates credibility.

Not often which was more or less my point. Continuing to recruit a kid sounds good but the chances of them flipping are slim based off recent history. Much better to put that effort into another kid(s).

The atmosphere and the gallon sized cans of whoopass that are going to be opened at hard rock and at Arlington will make anyone feel stupid for going anywhere else. Yes I’m wearing the glasses.
This ain’t Golden’s team anymore and I can’t fugging believe thee kids are still drinking the kool aid.

People on here were very close to the situation and if I’m not mistaken Pope was considered a Bama lock at one point. I know he wasn’t committed but to say they didn’t prioritize him would be a mistake.
