Give me Malone and Richards and the rest is gravy. Those two make me feel decent going into the season. Would also like a WR but I dont know what to think of the Kirk kid.

Because Deion is an attention ***** and Mario might be letting the players quietly graduate without making a spectacle over the fact that they won't be playing next year.

Moultrie was purely depth. He didn’t have stats or impressive film lol.

I agree as a DT but I thought he would have been good as a 2nd string playing the same role as Mesidor.

A 265 DT has no chance to bump G5 to P5 and be effective.

Agreed. if we are really running short on roster spots, I'm not crazy about signing a depth piece at linebacker. We have much more pressing needs.

Who knows if we are though? They could know about some guys on their way out the door.

I’ve said it a few times now.. Nixon isn’t that good. Not what the stats and accolades say at least.

We’re not exactly in a position to turn down a 1st team all conference USA LB but I would if we only have 5 spots left. Shouldn’t be a priority.

See how guys like Moultrie, Gore, Oluwaseun, etc have factored in that we’re all conference in lower conferences.

If that’s what you expect.. a mediocre depth role player.. fine. But don’t get too excited

Totally get your point, but last year was a desperation year with little time to truly evaluate transfers. Its very different this year, almost all of the transfers will be in the 2 deep, with multiple starters (Lee, Cohen, Maugoia, Brown, etc.).

I read that Chump Time has kicked 71 scholarship athletes out this window. That's absurd.

A lot of people are assuming certain guys will return. For instance, people keep mentioning Peyton Matocha without actually checking to see if he's on the roster (he's not).

Would be nice if matocha returned but I thought it was a fact months ago he wasn’t coming back. If he was coming back the articles wouldn’t be mentioning only 3 scholarship qb’s and he didn’t play spring ball

Meh. He's an okay LB but I just think he doesn't turn the needle. He's more of a rotational LB who can play 20-25 snaps then a day 1 starting LB, I worry about his athleticism. He's a great blitzer though so that should help, I think he's another Corey Flagg which is fine.

Even if not a starter, he would immediately, significantly increase the value of our bench at that position, and 2nd string LBs get lots of snaps....therefore, far from "meh".
