Morris is the best quarterback we've had in a few years. He's not perfect but the kid doesn't throw dumb picks, and I loved that 2 minute drive against Ga Tech to take the game into overtime.

He has the "x factor" And he's a leader of the offense
 
He missed some plays

But he made big plays (40+ yards) that inflated his stat sheet


But at least he doesn't throw pick 6's like noodle arm did
 
That throw was the best pass since Jacory/FSU also. Probably better, though the defense helped.

Still to juke the D and then throw a heat seeking missile on the run like that? Not many QB's can pull that one off.

Poor and so was our rushing game. less than 100 yards in unacceptable flat out. Defense still is weak and Fisch is not good with play call selection. Very frustrating!
 
as golden said a little while ago, gotta focus on the positives and not the negatives.

has he improved? yes. a lot fewer bad passes than at K State and less than less week. he corrected some of the technique errors of last week and he is now throwing the long ball very well, which he was not doing a few games ago.

has he played well in the clutch? yes.

is he a leader? yes.

not perfection, but progress. and we are 4-1. finding a way to win. plus, how many of these guys are coming back next year and the year after that?
 
Love the win and I am a huge fan of Morris.....but he does throw into a lot of double and triple coverage!

You guys are insane. Who cares if he can't hit the side of the barn on some throws, when he can wing it 65 in the air and on the money. He's a work in progress, but he's got a lot of tools.

No our play calling hurt the D as did the attack the punt on the opening 2nd half possession hurt us. More play action would have set up the run game today. But some of forget that Tenuta is on NCST D staff. He killed us in the past with GT. we beat them the way we needed to today.

Its like people forget all his great throws he has throughout the game. Yes, he misses some throws but he creates a lot of big plays with his arm. Glad to be riding shotgun with you D$
