As to what may come as a shock to many, AJ Highsmith retires

from football. Per the Miami Herald.

The 49'ers must have told him to try the rodeo clown business. This guy was the worst safety in the conference and he decided to give the NFL a shot. It's more than laughable.

What a joke of a post.... Troll of all trolls.... 40 posts since Jan of 2012?

We really need to clean this board up. Just wish him good luck in life.

the father is a great man and a great football player.

his son is a great man and a not so good football player.

that's all we are saying. and there's nothing wrong with either statements.

Anyone know his degree?
Every coach and player always referred to his smarts.
His dad can help, but i bet the kid is very successful in the future.

tried his best
stayed out of trouble
carried himself accordingly
got himself a degree from UM

he'll be alright. best of luck to the kid in his future endeavors

AJ may not have been a a great player, but be never got in trouble, and he left UM with a Masters Degree.

Still a Cane, not a very good one on the field, but there's no reason to talk down about the young man. He had two of the dumbest head coaches and arguably the worst DC in the business, that's some tough luck.

How this kid was even recruited at all is a big question mark. "Daddy ball" shouldn't be happening at the collegiate level. Was a D1-aa/d2 type player at best.athleticism or lack there reflected that as well. Nothing wrong with that at all.
D2 type player? You deserve a smack. AJ had offers from Boston College, TCU and Oklahoma State as well as the U. Tell me what type of D2 player has those offers? All AJ did was love Miami, stop being such a salty fan.

:diaf:you seem real upset.
