Trust me, Sony may be the #1 FOOTBALL PLAYER in America when he comes out, and we've seen what Duke can do.

That's no knock on Collins, but he's not better than either.

dude.......... lmao

So was Bryce Brown? The Highlights and physical attributes say that Collins is right there with Sony. Do you have some phenomenal highlight package or game footage to support your claims? cuz right now you're just shouting things and then dismissing all else with laughter.

Michel led Broward county in rushing as an EIGHTH GRADER!!!!!!!

He's on a level Collins never dreamed of as a HS Junior. I don't go by tapes, Jeff Luc had one of the finest linebacker tapes I ever saw, where's he genius????

Trust me son, Michel > Duke > Collins

If HS tapes solved everything than Noel Devine would lead the NFL in rushing every season. But if it makes your day go look up Sonys tapes, he's been on the National scene since Junior High, there MIGHT be some out there........
Just curious, anyone knows duke and Collins' senior stats and Sony's stats this year?

LOL if the fanbase hurts our chances with another recruit.

So his coach looks like he's pushing elseware, then a guy who gave a commitment backs out and then its the fans fault now? lmao...

No. I'm talking about a 17/18 kid with lots of pressure and stuff on his plate yet fans call him out when he's just trying to make an important decision for his future. It's very selfish and inconsiderate for fans to act like the world revolves around their favorite school. We should be supporting Collins in mulling over his options and making the best decision for himself.

Sounds like AC was greatly miss informed about how accepting miami locals are about their talented sons/daughters leaving town, especially with UM potentially on the rise again. AC where is the hometown pride youngman, these are the people who have cheered for you since optimus ball.

But hey you have to make the best choice for you, that is also the most informed choice, so gather all your information, but ask yourself why not my hometown.

Go Canes

Where are the Cane Lock posts?

No fancy graphics of Master Locks, the link to the Canesha Lock photo or Robert "Cane" Lock H(e)art posts and picks?

I dont think that Sony was playing vs Varsity as an 8th grader. he also appears to be completely full grown playing vs pre-adolescents. there is a good possibility that he is **** near peaked out physicaly

Collins is a beast and is in our backyard at a position of great need NOW. he cannot go to F$U

Michel, who led Broward County in rushing as an eighth-grader in 2009 with 1,825 yards and 18 touchdowns, once had the state’s all-time rushing record on his mind. But catching Glades Day senior and University of Florida commitment Kelvin Taylor isn’t his priority anymore. It’s leading Heritage to the Class 5A state title he covets most.

Michel already won a team state title with Heritage this past spring, running the third leg on the championship-winning 400-meter relay team. His surgically repaired left knee? Hasn’t bothered him once.

“These first couple days back on the football field have felt like I never missed a step,” said Michel, who was on the sideline cheering for his teammates all of last season. “It feels like I was never hurt.”

Now at 5-11, 202 pounds (he has gained 7 pounds since his freshman year), Michel said he has gotten stronger in the past year (he benches 225 pounds 19 times and squats 525 pounds) and has been clocked around the same time in the 40-yard dash (4.46).

So what you're telling me is that you don't know what you're looking for when it comes to Running Backs basically.

I'm asking YOU...YOU personally. Not an article from the herald or a scouting report from rivals. What are the traits that Sony possesses that make him so much better than Collins...if it all.

Actually I quoted this for the guy who said Sony wasn'y playing HS, but you couldn't figure that out I guess?

Sony is faster, and makes sharper cuts, loses zero speed while cutting, I also think he will be stronger heading to college IMO. He's Leasean Mccoy for a comparison, how's that??

does not make as quick cuts as McCoy and he has gotten his forty to 4.3, he isn't comparable honestly, he's just sony

RBs grow on trees in FL so Im not concerned. Thomas is a more important recruit IMO.

Sony Michel needs to fully recover from the ACL injury before we can say he's better than Alex Collins.

Ignorant comment, have you not watched or read about how he's playing this year?

It's not ignorant. Sony is playing great but he's not 100%, which is why guys like Okie think he is better than Collins and Duke.

I'm a huge huge Sony fan and he has one thing when healthy that Collins doesn't and that's sick track speed. As was pointed out Collins has made huge leaps as he has gotten older so let's let Sony keep recovering and getting better and then judge.

Impression I get is that Collins isn't committing to anyone at this point. He seems like a kid that will waver and waffle throughout. I'd bet his recruitment continues up until signing day. I'm not too optimistic, but don't think we're out of it either.

ya'll take this **** too seriously

Collins alone won't get us to a MNC or keep us from a MNC and no way in **** am I taking that scrub Franklin just to get him with sanctions on the horizon

If Golden has proven one thing.....he can recruit. Whether he gets Collins back or not he'll bring in a good RB
