Or do you need to see more?

Still have things to work on, but this offense is starting to click. Loved how we ran the ball down their throats in the final drive.

And I especially love the pistol.

For the most part, yes. Its all about his personnel. When Morris is on, helooks like a genius. When Morris is f*cking up, we blame the OC a bit TOO much. Today was AWESOME. I mean he was mixing it up all over the field. Even Big MO was catching balls. GREAT mix of passes, OL really got some great push today. Overall great day for Coley's playcalling. And Coach D too. Both get an A from me. If not for the turnovers, we beat these guys by 30+ today.

Coley's way better than Fish, but the guys who had doubts and all that nonsense will likely dig their heels in and continue to nitpick Coley. It'll likely be the guys who anointed Fish a genius erroneously who will continue to nitpick Coley to death.

We no longer have those long lapses like we did under Fish where the offense would die for 2 entire quarters at a time. Coley sets up his calls better. There's more rhyme and reason to what he's doing and not all this gimmicky nonsense.

Additionally, his offense is a tougher offense. Remember last year when we needed to close games out with the football, and we couldn't do it. We did it today with ease. They knew we were going to run at the end, and we ran anyway and punched in a TD.

I loved how he knew that this was a game where Duke could close it out and he didn't get cute, just fed #8. Sometimes, it's just about keeping it simple and doing it over and over again

love that the guy is not being cute with this offense, those stupid trick plays at the wrong time...Pistol looked good as well. So many weapons and they are utilizing them!

clean game, very balanced

I think we're averaging 45 points a game, not to shabby

plus I think theres a large % of the playbook that he's going to unleash on them ***** *oles

He's using Fish's playbook, so that's Fish's pistol offense.

Love the pistol. Wanted to murk that announcer who kept saying that we were more or less only doing the pistol because Morris couldn't stand on his bad ankle. That's a great formation and Coley's been working it in, but thanks for knowing nothing there ESPN douchebag.

Love that pistol and the stacked receivers. With our receiving group and duke in the backfield, it's unstoppable when we are on our game.

He's doing a good job.

Against FAU, we only ran about half a dozen plays.

Against UiF, we were going against an elite, and we sat on the lead.

The Savannah State game told us nothing.

USF and Georgia Tech looked very similar in terms of efficiency, which is a good sign. The 8 turnovers in those two games are unacceptable, but **** happens. I think that gets tightened up.

Can we not run zone stuff still or nah?

We are decently effective when running the zone scheme straight up without interior pulling. Problems occur when we pull the backside guard and the play gets blown up in the backfield.

I like how Coley is mixing things up. I think he is doing a nice job of keeping the defenses off balance. I like the formations and not getting 'cute'. I really liked seeing us in the 4th quarter, putting the hurt on GT's defense by running it. Not just running it, making them guess if it was coming up the middle or bouncing off tackle.

Duke and Crawford are a nice 1-2 punch combo. I love Duke's jets and moves, but you have to give Crawford. He has his own moves/power getting him through the holes and then he still has good wheels afterwards. I thought on Crawford's TD run, he was stopped, then all of a sudden, there he is and off he went....all 18 yards of it. :)

Coley just needs to keep doing what he's doing and our Offense is going to give every team we play fits.

Your right, and Chip should have been doing the announcing, Kelly Stouffer is horrible, annoying and provides bad information, he sucks.

Coley's playcalling was strong, but i think you also have to give some credit to good execution by the players. They were conditioned well and it showed that they wanted it when they ran the ball down the throats of the tech defense in the 4th.

Yep, though I didn't see too much of that today. Vast majority was pretty standard inside/outside zone stuff. Couple big plays on counters too. Really hope we continue using those.
