Are we a great team or just a good team?

IMO…and I’m no expert…we are a tough gritty team. Remember Bama, USC, Tenn, Michigan lost to unranked teams. This **** happens. It’s hard to run the table. I know we are Miami fans and all remember those dominant teams of the early 2000s but let’s not take anything from this team. It’s a special ride we’ve been on no matter what. I’ll take this over watching 2010s Miami football any day…keep winning no matter how

To me Cam has a Lamar Jackson-esque (Louisville) impact for this team…

I remember watching Louisville and thinking they’d be okay without him, above .500 but not particularly dangerous. But with Lamar they’re scary and he made them different. That’s what Cam does for us.
 
Hard to say after 6 games and 6 wins. We are better than 6 teams. UL was the game I flagged because it is after the bye week and we have played like dogcrap after bye weeks for nearly two decades.

Miami has some weaknesses but we are undefeated.
 
We are a 6-0 team and that’s all that matters. 7 ranked teams lost yesterday. If Vandy can beat Bama, then you know anyone can beat anyone on any given Saturday.

Just enjoy the **** win.
 
There are no Dominant teams this year. Maybe Ohio state but they haven’t played anybody. But for the sake of argument. It’s OSU and Texas for NOW and everybody else. We are a top 12 playoff team who could POSSIBLY make it to the Final Four

Exactly this ain’t 2001 but it ain’t the turnover chain year either lol. We have a good of a chance as anybody ….OSU and Texas are clear favorites for now

I think Va Tech is a lot better then we think. They took out Stanford pretty easy and there 3 losses are to all good teams. They played better against Vanderbilt then Alabama did lol. I'm starting to think Va Tech is a top 6 team in the ACC. We'll see how it turns out but don't be surprise they beat Clemson at home. Cal cheeks a midtable ACC team

Who is elite? Texas? Maybe Ohio State? Is everyone else either “middle of the pack” or bottom feeders? I think we’re a lot closer to the top than the bottom. Especially when it looks like almost every team has some exploitable weakness. Nobody is running away with the championship this year and it should make the playoffs and the race to make them even more exciting. I saw Alabama and Tennessee lose to SEC bottom feeders yesterday. I saw that same Alabama team beat Georgia just last weekend. Michigan can’t score and has lost two games already. Oregon has looked very beatable. Missouri just got smoked by Texas A&M. Ole Miss lost to Kentucky and struggled to score at all against them. So it looks like pretty much every team is just a middle of the pack team.

Hey, a lot of time the difference between good and great is one special player. Yeah, we’re probably an 8 or 9 win team with an average quarterback but the guy we have means we’re never out of a game.

Glad to see someone appointed you god. Never gave up. watched the game to the end. There's a difference in giving up and simply calling out a player, players, or coaches for not making plays. I've followed this team for nearly 40 years, been to the final OB fiasco after flying 4,800 miles one way, saw Butch Davis get pasted by UCLA out in Cali in 1995, etc. I don't need your approval for jack ****

Maybe just wait for the game to be over before you **** on the team then?

There’s no prize for being first to say your favorite team sucks.

IMO just a decent team, with a QB who can punch them into the upper echelon, when he pulls his head out of his ***, that is.

Different sport, but if anyone in Miami wants to see a true championship team, check out the Florida Panthers and what they've been doing lately. Those cats are just built differently, that team is ridiculous.
