Are we a great team or just a good team?

We are a good team not great… last year we lose Va Tech and Cal easily…but good teams find ways to win and that’s why the game is 60 minutes.

I don’t know why it took us so long to adjust and quite frankly maybe there is no answer sometimes. What I do know is we are 6-0, 2-0 in conference play with a bye week which we absolutely need before heading into Louisville.

Do we have gaps still in certain positions? Yea and Mario is working to close those via recruiting and the transfer portal. Fixing this team was going to be 4-5 year process and if it was going to be done the right way and not the quick band-aide FSU did… (look where they are in year 5)

So have fun enjoy the ride and keeping supporting this team. They didn’t quit so why should we?

A **great team** is one that consistently achieves exceptional results

We are no where near consistent, we are flawed in every position, including coaching.

These 2 weeks are coming at the right time!

Great comeback win!! We're a good team with a great QB who takes risks...it's been a long time for this old dude enduring 20 plus years of mostly mediocrity...this season however, I'm enjoying each quarter, each half, and each game!

Go CANES!!!

There is no bandwagon. This team is performing like a middle of the pack team. If you want to pretend it’s all sunshine cool.

Turnovers
Penalties
Giving Up big plays
Poor Tackling
Slow starts
Zero run game

All middle of the pack ****. Cam is covering up a lot of ****
There’s a huge difference between not playing perfect and being “middle of the pack”. There’s 133 FBS teams. You’re saying that Miami is the 66th best team in the nation? Crazy that they’re 6-0 yet somehow there’s 66 better teams.

As for your assessment. You’re sort of right. Too many big plays surrendered by the defense and some pretty poor angles taken by defenders. (That’s a much bigger issue than tackling IMO).

Miami had one turnover last night.

They scored on the very first possession so starting slow isn’t an issue.

Run game was actually pretty good but they had to abandon the run wheb they fell behind by 25 points. Fletcher was having his best game by far. They threw the ball 55 times.

I feel like you only watch Miami games and the team isn’t playing to your standards so you feel they’re average. But I saw four top 11 teams lose to un ranked opponents yesterday so if Miami is an average team, then who is good?

Your last paragraph just proved my point we are middle of the pack. We aren’t elite and we aren’t a bottom feeder.

Nickster you low T soy boy. You were rooting for Cal the entire time.

Get your SEC **** massager out of here. Nobody has the crayons or time to explain to you why the SEC is overrated AF yet here your dumb *** is perpetuated the myth.
Hey Quall, I was a season ticket holder for 33 years, been to every wide right or left games along with 3 National Chapionship games and a massive supporter of the U. Attending games since 1983 too. I just call it objectively and this team could not compete in the SEC!

Where is good as anybody out there. College football has changed and parody is here. Couple that with the whims of teenagers and you have the game we all love.
I’ll say this much it’s been a long time since I’ve seen a Miami team with the fight that this team has. You have to give credit to the coaching staff for installing a mental toughness that may be the most important characteristic of all when it’s said and done.

Nah def….old Miami teams would have just rolled over. Only reason I stayed up to watch that **** game after it was 35-10 was cuz I felt Cam gave us a shot

Not middle of the pack. But that’s what elite QBs do to teams.

Maybe 1-2 complete teams lots of good teams that may not always play to their potential, lots of upsets.

If we can get Harris off the field and take the foot shooter from the defense, we can have a very special season. **** Cam already makes it a special season.

Anytime you need to state your qualifications or accomplishments you’ve jumped the shark.

GTFOH with that BS “i cAlL It hOw i sEe iT. i’m a rEaLiSt.” No one cares how long you’ve been a burden. Go suck some Saban ****. We whipped the “mighty” SEC team on our schedule and beat the team that also beat the “mighty” SEC team on their schedule.

Get bent

For the millionth time, were a nice little team like Tennessee in 2022 with Hooker at Qb. Explosive on offense and very suspect on Defense particularly in the secondary. Not dominant but still won 10 games. We have a better qb but they had a better wr core.

We beat 4 bottom of the pack teams and just barely beat two middle of the pack teams, both of which could have just as easily been losses, putting us at 4-2. So yeah, let’s not sit around blowing each others horns.

Guess it depends on what you think of Virginia tech and cal. Are they upper tier ACC teams? Probably not and it took miracles to beat them
