i predict we sign 21....

Before Golden's quote of factoring reductions, he said 18. Yesterday he said he's now factoring it in, and he said 15. Last year he said around 33, and that's pretty much what we got. How in the **** do we still come up with 20+?! Fans' fantasies are just that...fantasies. Class will be 15-16.

There might be some attrition that ups Golden's numbers. I can't imagine guys like White and Perry staying for another year.

we signed 22 2012 cycle...we're allowed 2 sign 28 a cycle...Big Al could still sign 6 for 2012 cycle....15 for 2013 cycle & take a 10 schollie hit for 2013 cycle....possibility exist & i cant think of one good reason 2 leave 6 spots on da table for 2012 cycle

we signed 22 2012 cycle...we're allowed 2 sign 28 a cycle...Big Al could still sign 6 for 2012 cycle....15 for 2013 cycle & take a 10 schollie hit for 2013 cycle....possibility exist & i cant think of one good reason 2 leave 6 spots on da table for 2012 cycle

The 10-scholarship hit would apply to new schollies & total schollies, so we'd have to be at 75 for the 2013 cycle as well as only signing 15.

I could see a scenario where a kid like Asante Cleveland decides to transfer, and then we keep Kerr at tight end, and make room for Hunter Knighton. Same with Kelvin Cain, he could open up a spot for Tim Williams or Devante Bond. If Eduardo Clements decides to move on, then we offer Daryl Chestnut (who could easily be flipped from Texas Tech).

i was just about 2 make dat point...possiblity he wants 2 b at 80 & 10 schollie hit is factored for 2012 & 2013...5 schollies a cycle lost

I think he'd already have to declare a 5-scholly loss for 2012, but who knows? We did sign more than 20 last cycle, so that's kind of out of the window.

since administration hasnt self-impose schollie reduction...5 schollies lost a year is in theory...anyway it goes...some have 2 b shown da door

i've only heard him use 80 as a benchmark....
