Any good analysis of what caused Guidry to lose it?

Good job with the generalizations and assumptions.

Why don't you ask @Wake_Cane if our football players actually go to class, actually do their own tests, actually do their own homework, actually write their own papers.

Sure, you've got all the conclusions, but none of the actual observation or experience to prove it.
Those must have been a Derrick Harris impersonator blocking my view in those classes.

Can anyone point to the reasons Guidry and the defense fell off a cliff. If we just had the 23 defense we’d still be playing. It can’t just be the loss of Kam and JW. We added a ton of portal lineman but got less pressure. I remember how worried we were about losing him to LSU and gave him a new deal.

What happened to the exotic pressures and 3rd quarter adjustments?

It reminds me somewhat of Alex Grinch and Don Brown.
Mostly bad personnel decisions. But some of the strategy was also highly questionable.

- The CBs always playing 10-15 yards off the line of scrimmage. The space gave WRs easy catches and more room to cause miss tackles.
- DEs in coverage 10+ yards down field.
- Instead of breaking down and converging on scrambling QBs (if you watched OSU last night their DL did a great job of this) our Dline seems to always run right past opposing QBs.
- DBs not knowing their assignments.
- DBs and LBs taking themselves out of plays, poor angles, poor instincts, poor job reading their keys which goes back to the previous point.
- Giving up the edge on outside running plays super easily.
- Our players often end up on the ground trying to make tackles instead of staying on their feet and driving through the ball carrier. Goes back to taking poor angles.

Agreed. And I must have been hypnotized into doing all the work in group projects in my Business School classes when I had athletes in my group.

I love old people who are:

1. Impressed with going to college and think it's impressive to sit thru classes, using AI to write papers, graduating bc you can't fail.

2. Think Div 1 football players actually go to class, actually do their own tests, actually do their own homework, actually write their own papers.

3. Think these recruits in highschool take their own SATs/ACTs.

Truly remarkable how out of touch with reality some of you morons are.
I'm in my 20s

Ok so are these guys sitting through class and using AI to write their papers or are they not going to class, not doing their own tests and having someone else write their own papers? Again, are you sure you want to be calling others low IQ?
