I've always felt what makes the UM fan base so unique is how brutal we are with each other and against our own team. It's our way of living out "practice is harder than the game", and is one reason the world isn't ready for us to come back. We've spent almost a decade and a half devouring our own.

I think it's a mistake to not offer him. I feel like when chatfield commits to uf he's going to try and flip silvera to uf

We can't be held hostage by a kid our staff doesn't want. Nesta seems locked and and when he sees our DT ball out this year it should leave no doubt in his mind where the best place for him is.

no thanks. you dont base ur offers around a guy you dont want. we can close w nesta without taking chat field. he didnt flip to OSU when chat committed there and nothing different now.

The same Silvera that's recruiting Campbell to Miami?

I don't get it. Silvera wasn't following Chatfield to LSU, he wasn't following Chatfield to OSU, so why would he follow him to UF? Silvera can make his own decision, just like everyone does at Heritage. Herbert didn't follow to the Heritage kids to UF last year

Hasn't he performed poorly in camps?

The staff has had a good look at him and they're passing. I'll trust Kool and the staffs evaluations and ability to recruit over yours since that's what they do for a living

Because he's raw. But you're banking on Kool molding the raw athleticism into something. Chatfield doesn't have the potential to be anything. You can't mold nothing into something. The building blocks have to be there.

I said if we offered him that would be one less thing osu can use against us trying to land Campbell as they can play a package deal angle with the heritage kids.

Uf is entirely different then osu in this situation yeah it's 5 hours away but it's still in Florida, his cousin just signed there and has a couple of former teammates there
