It’s probably an old animus over UM.

The same thing with FSU and the GA OT Mims. I don’t think they felt they had a realistic chance to get him. They just wanted to muddy the waters for us and it worked.

Since transfers can't sign LOIs, that would technically work.

Though he doesn't have to "re-enter" the Portal. But it WOULD be dramastic if he did...
