Aren't players allowed to transfer if the head coach or position coach they signed with leaves? If so, how can Tulane hold this kid back? It's obvious he didn't go to Tulane to play for their program, he went there because of Guidry. And not because Guidry is tampering. The kid clearly wants to play for him.

Agreed but when he had that tweet that his recruitment was 100% open you had to know something like this was in the works. Would be great if Guidry can still close the kid but I’m not counting on it at this point.

I’m not a fan of the home & home with G5 schools- bad optics for the program- BUT since LA is a ripe recruiting area at the moment, if we’re ever going to do it again, going to New Orleans could make some sense.

If this kid is really worth that much headache.

This is not scientific but there is no way any logic in my brain tells me LSU has a better shot of landing this kid than does Guidry. Sorry. He been with him at 3 different schools. He aint going to learn a new defense in his last year. Not worried about it. Relationships matter. Unless ita a technical issue. This guy will be a cane.
