D, I know it’s only a few hours after the game ended but please tell us that Mario is absolutely panicking about the QB situation for next season and doesn’t have his head in the sand.

I think the play calling in the 2nd half speaks for itself. They were terrified to let Emory throw the ball, and they were right to be terrified. They know.

I hear you but what the **** were they doing with all of the portal QBs over the past few weeks? I mean if he’s that bad and gets butthurt if they recruit over him, you let Emory go to the portal at any time. It’s not like today’s game really meant anything anyway. Now it feels like MC has to pull another miracle at QB for next season unless Luke is the second coming.

Don’t know. Maybe they really believed Mateer was coming here. There’s another portal window in the Spring. Maybe they think they can get Ewers. All I know is I refuse to believe they have any confidence in Emory after what we just witnessed.

I already don’t take it serious but..im at the point where i don’t even want to see talks about what happens in practice lmao..Especially not with backup qbs

I already see the luke hype from green tree now…And im not saying its deserved or not i just don’t think its important enough to be a real discussion as much as it is unless he’s gonna start

I think Luke maybe ok but honestly I don’t think he’s even Brad kayaa. I just can’t trust that he’s got something tbr we should’ve went after a faded five star last year. Like Dante Moore or someone like that so we could’ve had them in our system this offseason. I assume Mario had beef with rashaada and probably didn’t want to spend on Moore. Being honest idk if I trust our high school qb evaluations because it’s no way these boys thought Judd is better then Bailey at nc state.

There's a vested interest from people within the program to disseminate downright propaganda to the huddled masses of our gullible fanbase.

They do it to keep the wolves at bay & ticket sales flowing.

That's why those of us who actually have a brain & ask questions are always presented as the bad guy.

The truth is, you simply cannot trust little to anything you hear about how players are performing in practices or camps, you're never going to get an honest assessment.

This staff in particular puts a lot of effort in controlling the narrative & framing the messaging about the perception of the program. They believe it helps in recruiting. But it's a shortcut to a much more compounding problem.

The main issue is, their evaluation & recruiting process on both the HS & Portal fronts is completely disjointed & more reactionary than proactionary. They focus too much on specific aspects of players & not on the bigger picture.

It's a too far in the forest to see the trees type of conundrum.

Cam Ward was on pace to throw for 380 yards and 6 TDs against the….wait for it…..6th ranked passing DEF in the country (broadcasters words not mine)……and wait for it…..this was with his TOP 3 WRs not playing!!!!!……

I almost wanted him to go back in the game for the final two drives to close it out once we went up 10pts….but honestly I’m glad he didn’t because it truly gave all of a chance to see that Emory just doesn’t have it. I’m thankful for the Clemson win last year and his gutsy performance vs FSU…it’s just not enough to have guts and be tough, you have to be an accurate passer as well.

What’s crazy is what Cam did actually showed NFL teams that he’s going to be a straight DUDE and will elevate the talent around him - I’m a Cowboys fan but I’m telling you now if this dude goes to the Giants, he’s going to light the world on fire and send the NY media in a frenzy…..please please please don’t let this man go to the Raiders or Titans, Cam needs the largest stage possible so he can make Canes fans round the world something to cheer for next year - because if we don’t get a transfer QB, we are in MAJOR trouble in 2025
