What part?Cap AF.
Any time I’ve given my opinion on Emory it’s been pretty clear.

**** Mario’s seat better already be warm. Have a season like that and fail to make the playoffs then fall behind on recruiting also… nah it’s warm right now after that chit showIt’s BS like this “backup qb battle” thread that has fans kinda skeptical on the takes around here. It was clear tonight that we had Cam and then no one. Nickel better be the next Manziel or we are going nowhere and Mario’s seat will get very warm
Yes those stellar numbers and that 8 yard Bomb gives Mario instant woodLet’s see what they say about Emory’s performance. “I thought he played well, despite…or considering….”
To be fair you have said “the staff likes him” but taken every transfer possibility over him. Said guys like Mendoza represent a major upgrade. What part?

D please tell me the coaches don’t think he can be the guy next year. He looked really slow with his reads and can barely move. D coordinators will destroy him. I think Nickel beats him out but we need a bridge year guy. He can not be the starter here. What part?

Oh, I thought you were talking about my video.Bro, don’t do this. Reese nor Williams “were on the heels” of Cam.
I think some of it is just coach speak. I give it to you like I get it but my consistent position has been that we bring in a Portal QB.D please tell me the coaches don’t think he can be the guy next year. Only positive from this loss is increased pressure on the coaches. Thanks for the quick response D.I think some of it is just coach speak. I give it to you like I get it but my consistent position has been that we bring in a Portal QB.
"Both Emory [Williams] and Reese [Poffenbarger] have really done a good job of staying on the heels of Cam [Ward]. Cam is obviously taking the ones reps and he deserves it. He's earned that and then both Emory and Reese are right after that."What part?

That’s a quote from Cristobal. Everything else in that story is my opinion."Both Emory [Williams] and Reese [Poffenbarger] have really done a good job of staying on the heels of Cam [Ward]. Cam is obviously taking the ones reps and he deserves it. He's earned that and then both Emory and Reese are right after that."
"Staying on the heels" implies they're actually pushing Cam and performing somewhat respectably and are adequate backups.
Emory is:
Slow processor
Inaccurate
Bad/slow mechanics
Unaware/uncomfortable in the pocket
If he started for us, he'd end up in the Kirby Freeman category probably.
Got it. Thanks. That’s a quote from Cristobal.
I can see none of cams football iq rubbed off either . Like he is not good and football dumb tooOh, I thought you were talking about my video. That was just a coach speak quote from Mario. They aren’t in the same universe as Cam.
Yeah.. seems I was waaaay on top of this horse ****.I completely agree with you're saying, but I sure hope you're wrong.
It just makes no sense to build an offense that, in order to be successful, REQUIRES the QB to be surrounded with elite talent. Its a backwards way of thinking.
The Dorsey argument that people are making is not apples to apples. Offenses were different 20 years ago when Dorsey was taking most of his snaps from under center.
Like you said, coaches love the steady, mature QBs. Every coach has guys they refuse to bench. And my concern is that Emory is going to end up being the guy the coaches won't give up on because they love the intangibles.
Tbh, I hope Emory doesn't red shirt this year. Otherwise, we could be stuck with him until 2028.
