If this is the tone going into his visit in Norman and he doesn’t have an agent this thing seems wrapped up. Feel like him having an agent would help in this situation because he might have blinders on

Another update on a surprise visitor: Southern Illinois receiver Keontez Lewis. He got into town tonight and will be visiting the next couple of days. Lewis started his career at UCLA then transferred to Wisconsin where he played two seasons and then was at Southern Illinois this year. He totaled 49 receptions, 790 yards and five touchdowns.

Also, it does sound like Javonnie Gibson’s visit went well. Not sure what’s next for him. I wouldn’t be surprised if he made a decision soon. I’ll try to find out more tomorrow, but they are bringing in a lot of receivers with Jerand Bradley and Isaiah Sategna still set to visit this week.

Mateer would be an absolute fool not to come down to Miami, hear what our plan for him is and weigh his options in terms of money plus what he will be surrounded with. He would also be very shortsighted not to seriously consider us given what UM did for Cam Ward's career trajectory.

Look at OU's Offensive Line, RBs, TEs and WRs and compare that with UMs. It's UM in a landslide but hey, it's his career right?
