I had a similar experience.

Admittedly I didn’t really know who this guy was until recently, but he looks **** talented. Very talented runner.

And I saw some video earlier today of him rolling right and doing a jump throw, came out like a missile. Guy is gonna be a problem, really want to snag him. And hope I’m not setting myself up, but the draw to Miami is obvious.

Lock his *** down and I feel a whole lot better about next season.

Been saying it since September (I live in WA state now and surrounded by Wazzu alum)- Mateer was under the radar and one of the most talented qbs in cfb. I am talking pure talent. I think he could be a better COLLEGE qb than Ward because of how a true dual threat qb can affect a college defense. Ward is a better pro prospect but Mateer could be a 50 TD (combined air / ground) qb in Dawsons offense.
