I think Mensah and the North Texas QB who signed with UVA - name slips my mind - are better than what we have. Unfortunately those guys committed elsewhere and we went all in on Mateer and then couldn’t get him to visit. It worked out for Mario last year, though it was not a guarantee and we were close to going into spring with Poff as the guy. Didn’t work out so well this time and the better backup options are gone now. The last 6 weeks or so have been god awful.

Plan D I mentioned two weeks ago is still out there lol. I’d be ok with him but he’s not **** enough for cis

For 20 years we’ve had nothing to sell, now we have basically everything to sell. This wouldn’t hurt as bad if we didn’t have so many logical reasons in our favor taking a Day 3 pick and turning him into a top 2-3 pick, highest scoring offense, incredible OL to play behind, and the cash…..vs a team that’s a bottom feeder in the SEC

you watch Oklahoma play this year? mid majors were shoving their OL around. I think Mateer is a gunslinger, makes bad throws but I feel with our OL he'd have the time he never had at Wazzou. honestly, I wish the kid the best if hes loyal to his coaches. I mean we just had a wr here who bobbled the ball like a hot potato when he got here, improved alot and now looks like hes gone. I cant hate on mateer for loyalty to his boys.

We really about to roll out statue Emory ND and UF about to roll us next year. Do we even win 6 games?

Emory ceiling is Mendoza. I’m hoping his arm improved significantly over what it was in 2023 because it was bad and we had to run our offense with the training wheels on. Hopefully Emory has improved leaps and bounds but he’s nowhere near the range of a Cam Ward, the offense will take a massive hit losing X and Cam then replacing them with CJ and Emory.
