They are a strange bunch. I bet they’d still think they have a solid chance because they are “SEC blue blood OU.”

That last paragraph is EXCITING.. basically they are getting to a take it or leave it stance with Mateer, we good either way.
WOW. Love that level of arrogance by a team that is struggling as much as they did this year and lost their entire offense.

But, hey, they just got that kid from Arkansas Pine Bluff who has had exactly one good season at the HBCU level.
 
It’s just comical at this point. They keep emphasizing how they offer great facilities, Mateer’s OC and QB coaches, and close to home. Meanwhile, we offer the chance for him to be one of the best QBs in CFB next year, top draft pick, Heisman finalist, and playoffs (if our D can get it together). The fact that this is even close is hilarious.
