I don't think I've ever heard of a kid breaking his femur in a non-contact play just cutting. That's a wow. He might want to concentrate on baseball....

Yeah it is, but all it takes is falling the wrong way. Happened to me and I just tripped awkwardly which resulted in me breaking my femur.

I'd be worried that something else caused the bone to be weak. Hopefully it's just a freak accident, but cancer shows up that way sometimes.

So I was just watching an interview with Brian Dohn and Simone Scott where they were breaking down the top performers at the Semper Fi game.
