Cash...yeah I think Blue could quite the impact guy. So who redshirts from the 13' class because the way everyone on this board is talking it seems like the only players we expect to redshirt are Tim Williams, Ray Lewis III, Alex Figueroa, Jeremy Kerr, and Standish Dobbard. That's not a lot of guys. Thus I pose this question to the board who really redshirts from this recruiting class?

I'm expecting all of our OL coming in to RS. We have good depth across the board there right now.

I can't disagree there. We do have a offensive line. I'm looking forward to seeing us develop those 1st Team ALL-ACC Lineman down here. I think Mcderrmot and Linder fit the bill. Seantrel, well we know the potential. I do like Ereck Flowers as well.

Kevin Olsen
Hunter Knighton
Sonny Odogwu
Alex Gall
Jaynard Bostwick
Jermaine Grace
maybe Denver Kirkland

On a side note FSU just lost another coach and top recruiter in Craig going to Auburn.

12 of 18-20 guys? that's a decent amount of RS. I can live with that especially with the team from last year being so young. Any predictions for canes in the 2014 draft?

The demise of FSU is now in Full Effect. Craig going to Auburn is not good for the rest of the SEC though.

Seantrel guaranteed 1st rounder
Porter 1st Day (assuming he remains healthy in 2013...which is presposterous on my part)
Linder 3rd-4th
Stevie Mo 2nd-3rd
Jimmy Gaines 2nd Day

im not sure how to feel about Kermit, the fact that he is coming to visit is a good thing, but i also saw in twitter where bellamy said he talked to Kermit n urged him to stay with FSU. At sametime i saw an article where it said Kermit was very interested in Miami and that "he could surprise on signing day" welcome to the world of recruiting I guess lol

Kermit is trolling & gonna play us with a dumb hat game, he isn't coming here & matter fact I wouldn't let his skinny butt in the door. The reason why TRich hasn't called him is because we aren't recruiting him anymore. I'd bet money on it. Kermit is just playing games

Who I think redshirts

Olsen (almost certainly)
Standish Dobard (with basically all of our TEs coming back plus the addition of stud JUCO Sandland, there is no need to rush him into playing time)
Kirkland*
Odogwu
Gall
Kerr
Knighton
Maybe 1 DT (assuming we get at least 2)
Tim Williams*
Figueroa
Grace*

* = currently uncommitted but likely to end up in the class

BTW, for those of you beating that "Tim Williams is too small" drum. You might want to watch this video

15 seconds in. Another kid with that wiry strength like 6
wow, Williams looks explosive. That David Dawson kid looked great at OG

what's you guys thoughts on Jawand Blue and Briscoe for next season

I think both could be exceptional players. I heard a lot of very good reviews on Blue. Briscoe has a great first step but needed to put on some good weight so he was RS. Briscoe is one of my favorite recruits from the 12' class. By his sophomore year he could be an absolute beast. Gotta get the right weight and strength on that frame

Big question with Briscoe is his motor and commitment to the game. He was a bum who coasted for most of his HS career. Then, he turned it on in the playoffs and dominated. Pretty sure they moved him to OL during practice last season, and that wasn't because he was showing great promise at a position of desperate need--DT. He's got the physical tools. If he decides that he wants to dominate he can be a player for us. Otherwise, his career will vaporize.

Exactly my point, showing up out of shape gets u a RS. Drop that bad weight, get in shape, feel better & faster and then see what happens. He wasn't physically ready to play last year. Moore & Ivery had much better strength numbers, he only played OL on scout to help prep, that's the job of scout. Dallas Crawford played multiple positions on scout for prep work.
