all american games

Laquon Treadwell (ESPN #20)- is recruiting uncommited recruits at the UA game to join him at Ole Miss, so he is expected to be an Ole Miss lock. Taking an OV to Okla. St. on Jan 11 and is expected to make a decision soon after that... If he decides to take his 2 remaining OV's, they could be to Miami and UF- but likely to be just for entertainment (Miami, UF considered Dark Horses in his recruitment)

6- No new updates. Still a battle between us and F$U, but Georgia has been "coming on strong" over the last month and Alabama remains in his Top 5. Now likely that he takes his OV on the 18th to Miami instead of to USC

Dee Liner- Currently committed to Auburn but has Alabama and Miami as two other options he is looking at.
Until Liner decommits from Auburn, it would be hard to put anyone else in the driver's seat. -@Cdowlar
Still planning on coming to Miami mid-January for his OV, but other Auburn commits like Carl Lawson are in his ear during UA practices about sticking w/ Auburn

Props to Pete on this call.

I want both.

This, we are in no position to pass up potential pass rushing DE's. Bringing in AQM would allow us to redhsirt Williams and allow him to bulk up and add strength as well.

I think you shirt both of them, thats why we got Bond and Fig... I too want both of them.. but they still need to shirt and get stronger, remember Hoilett will get a say in a lot of this as well... we have depth at DE that can play now and McCord can put his hands in the dirt!

WR Stacy Coley now says he wants to head out of state for college. Watch out for Ole Miss, Cinci, and North Carolina. Will visit all three
12:33pm - 3 Jan 13

I'm calling shenanigans on this.

One thing Bakas said a while back was take everything Coley says with a grain of salt and he thought his recruitment would stretch past signing day. Just a different kind of dude.

Olsen starting at QB, Kirkland starting at RT, Thomas starting at OLB. Pretty interesting that Burns is not starting, he may be in the nickel role.

They asked some of the top prospects who their toughest competition was, and two defensive linemen (Greg Gilmore and DeMarcus Walker) named Kirkland.

I find it weird he's not starting considering the fact he's supposedly been playing amazing. Could this just be that stars are beating out talent?

Think it has more to do with him playing safety in the game and not CB.

He was shining in the drills when he was at CB but they switched him to safety for some reason

Could be that they want to even out talent among 2nd & 3rd strings so there's not much of a drop off when you sub people out.

How have the east rbs been today?
Pretty solid as usual. I actually think Ray Lewis III is a pretty good player.

Ray Lewis catches th ball well. I think he's probably a slot receiver on the next level. Runs nice routes as well

1- Alquadin Muhammad, Ramsey (N.J.) Don Bosco- Muhammad has been a tough out for most of the East offensive linemen this week. He’s athletic, has a quick first step and has good hand quickness and length. The New Jersey standout will make a commitment on Saturday during the game and it’s expected to be Miami (Fla.) over Rutgers and others.

I want so badly

Greg Gilmore: "Grant Hill and Denver Kirkland. Those are the two that, every time it's my turn, I want to go against those guys to try and get better."

DeMarcus Walker: "Denver Kirkland is the best guy I've been against. He's just so big and wide, it's hard to get around him. Today, I finally learned how to beat him. You have to get vertical, and when he extends his arms you have to chop them down."
