FWIW, Ferman is out there. He says Matthew Thomas looks explosive but underdeveloped, Olsen looks good, and that Kirkland is a beast.

My biggest disappointment of Matt to date. From the time he popped on the scene (spring of sophmore year) til now dude looks like he hasnt gained a pound. Not sure he is a hard gainer but more banking on being a 16 year old kid who cant get the amount of nutrition to help get his weight up.

Disappointed in a HS kid?

Relax.

Please do the needful and see Jawand Blue before U Tough and after.

"Uncommitted defensive end Alquadin Muhammad was the top edge rusher. He made play after play and his frame is awesome with his arms basically coming down to his knees. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Muhammad plans to announce on Saturday between Miami, Notre Dame and Alabama."

Also in the same article: "Offensive Line… After Tunsil, USC commit Khaliel Rodgers really shined. He was dominant in 1-on-1s, where he owned Keith Bryant" LOL

Maybe I posted it wrong, I am a BIG matt fan. Not trying to say he sucks or anything just an observation from watching him the last few years. Also I made mention of reasons why that might have happened. Never said he was gonna be a bust or anything.

Has anything positive come out about his play recently? Out of shape, lazy, getting dominated.....I'm worried.

As far as I'm aware Blue redshirted last season. Where has anyone seen him?

Lol, guess we are out of it for 6...we aren't even mentioned in the ESPN scroll as one of his offers.

How does Burns compare to Jamal Reid?

Much stronger and more explosive. Reid had better ball skills, though.

I liked Reid out of HS, but he failed because he was too slow for corner, not physical enough for safety and wasn't focused off the field.

Almost entirely different players. Reid was a guy who succeeded primarily because of good feet.

Burns is simply on another level as an athlete.

The pics you´re talking about were before Blue took part in UTough. He came in looking like that.

Williams is a guy you RS and is 240lb by the time he sees the field. Would love him and Muhammed.

At this point we just need to find a Square/Nanton type

Square? I hope we never find a Square type again. That dude didn't make a play the whole time he was here.

I don't understand all the recent love for nanton around here lately either. He was not much better than mediocre by my recollection.

By the time his senior season rolled around he barely got on the field. He had one decent season where he put up a few sack numbers. Other than that, he was terrible. Sometimes, dudes get legendary the longer they've been away. Pretty soon, guys will be waxing poetic about Jim Wilson and Brian Stinson.
