I will not reveal his identity, but I can tell you that he is a pretty influential person in Plantation.

Why would you post that and then not post who it is? Unless you're a lawyer, and the "adult" is your client, or you're a psychologist and the "adult" is your patient, spill it.

Publishing this man's identity will serve no valid purpose. If you choose to not believe what I am telling you, that is fine.

Just don't understand why you can't say who it is.

Why does he have to reveal a man's identity to a bunch of guys who don't even use their actual names on a message board? What purpose would it serve? Either you believe the message he's relaying, or you don't. The name of the person involved has nothing to do with the message relayed.

I could understand pushing him out of state to Bama or LSU ....but Arkansas? Sounds like the dude has some possible incentive from the Hogs.

As far as I know, this man is not pushing Alex to Arkansas. He only expressed to me that he would like to see Alex go to UW. That was in early December (shortly after Gran left FSU and Bielema left UW). I've seen him a couple of times since then, but we didn't discuss Alex in either of those meetings.

Whether it is best for AC to stay close to home or leave the state is a matter for his family to decide and advise of, not a stranger. What makes this even more peculiar is he was pushing Alex to go to a particular university (Wisconsin) and not just to get out of town. Having said all that, I don't even think this person opinion has any bearing on AC final decision. Just my own gut feeling.

The man is not a stranger to Alex. Alex has a good relationship with this man and his family. Having said that, I think you are correct that this man's opinion will probably have no bearing on Alex's decision, and I'm not sure how much he is even sharing his opinion with Alex.

The man may have an agenda, but he is not a "******** bag coddler." He has done a lot of good things for Plantation and the kids in Plantation. I guess he would be okay if his agenda was congruent to ours.

Don't know who IW is referencing but I had very similar info. I would have to trust IW's info on this based on what I know.

You should trust IW's info based on the fact that he's the most honorable dude on this board, and he's more tied into Plantation athletics than a bunch of dudes from outside the state.

what do you mean? Charlie is not the guy IW is talking about. Charlie was AC's main recruiter at UW and that continues with his move to Arkansas. I grew up with all of these guys and have been friends with Partridge for over 25+ years.
