IMO he only kept up the facade with UM to placate his family. As soon as he was able to get away to Atlanta he made the decision HE wanted.

think its about time the staff "Kirkland's" Collins. Come now or your issue with your mom will be resolved by us. Forget your attorneys as you no longer have the option of coming to Miami. We dont need a kid here that was forced here and is not going to be happy

he seemed very hesitant to pick one over the other. sounded as if he almost went back and forth twice during the 25 seconds that was his announcement

I don’t see why “mom steals NLI” and “mom hires lawyers” are so hard to connect. Answer seems pretty obvious to me: Doesn’t trust Arkansas.
 
Sating the obvious, but something else must be going on. His moms isn't going to go through all of this without a REAL reason to fight. It has to be more then him just staying home at this point. Either AC told her his coach was getting something if he went there or she found out on her own/ from someone else. She let her kid live with someone else for herto be fighting like this, there has to be more.
 
Can we STOP with this kid already. He's NOT coming here. He CANT come here now. Kid has gone ALL IN on Arkansas. He would look like the biggest fool in recruiting history if he ends up here because his mother forced him to come, moreovoer, he would be treated like a pariah by the current players. It has gone so far as to hire lawyers, so he's all in on Arkansas. He doesnt want to be here, and I dont want him here either.

WE dont want kids who dont want to be a part of this program. I dont care whawt kind of potential he has, he DOESNT WASNT TO BE A CANE. F*CK HIM. Let it go.

Only issue I can maybe see here is that some money was promised and his mother got cut out of the deal?

The fact that she hasn't backed down yet may indicate something deeper than seeing her son moving to Arky.

Who knows.
