Al-Quadin Muhammad cancelled his ND visit

All of a sudden a dline class of Bostwick, Muhammad, Williams and Random DT X is a real possibility...and this staff can't recruit DL.

We might not get any of those dudes, but I LOL at the panic and questioning of Al's recruiting acumen before signing day. If the dude's proven anything, he's proven that he can sell better than Frank Rizzo.

I can tell you this: If this El Mashtoub dude doesn't take an official to ND he ain't going there.

That's an interesting development. Years of Coker/Shannon still have me scared to get the least bit excited, though.
 
Question: Lets say hypothetically he declares for us Jan 5 (or whatever the date of the AA game is). Tim Williams Official Visit is January 18. Do you think this will have any effect Williams? Can we take both? I'd love to have both and figure it out later (Ricardo Williams or Jalen Grimble exit stage left please?).

I'm kind of brainstorming out loud here.

If Williams is scared off, then he's not a guy you win with. He's a project anyway at this point. He's not big enough to come in and do anything but RS.

I'd get out of the mindset of running guys off every time we sign someone at their position. I don't see Al as that sort of HC. He wants to build depth and develop guys, and there's no way to do that if you keep getting rid of guys to bring in freshman. Way too early to give up on the guys you mentioned.
 
Williams in tiny. I would take Muhammad in a second over him. We need bigger ends. I would gladly take both though

Understood but seems someone would have to go in order to take both. Green is a Sr, Chick is obv not going. Who is lowest DE on our totem pole? Williams has redshirted (I feel like he's been here 2 years now?) and Grimble may be ready to start producing soon but seems IMO Williams is low man on the totem pole atm.

I ain't said it in a while but I will post again:

Talk to me in February about who we can't, won't, and didn't get.
 
Just heard he has been wearing the UM hat he got from Grace non stop at school since his trip
