That's hardly the point. Two seasons in 20 years we've won 10 games and y'all act like if we fire Mario we'd bring someone in that would immediately vault us to a new level and that's simply idiotic homerism.

As a Canes fan, pray, hope, sacrifice, enciende una velita, whatever works for you best that Mario doesn't get fired because if Mario gets fired - this **** is over. Mario, for all his warts, is our BEST and truly only chance to return to glory. No one will have the backing that he has from the powers that be. Let's hope he can improve on his W-L record for a 4th year in a row.

IDGAF who carried us. 10-2 is 10-2.

Mario assembled the roster. Mario got Cam to Miami. He assembled one of the best offenses in the country and didn't play caveman football this year like everyone accused he would. Next season there will be more money invested into other spots. He might not be the best in-game coach but he knows how to assemble a winning college roster, and he's only gotten better every year here. 10-2 is not the time to mope given where the program has been in recent years.

A serious lack of self awareness on this board.

and when Mario loses cam anddoesnt replace that level of production, then what? you'll be okay 5-7 7-5 bc thats what next year looks like right now

maybe you need to watch games with your eyes and not box scores bc this team was extremely flawed and cam covered a lot of it up. the issue is cam is 1 and done. Mario cant fall back on cam saving his ***

ok if 2018 repeats 2025, dont come back and say you were right bc in its current state, thats where were headed. we haven't fired the DC. haven't hired the DC. haven't improved the DL. still need major DB help. need another S. need some WRs. oh yea need a starting QB bc our best QB just finished his last HS game

Sorry, this was Mario’s ceiling. Cakewalk schedule, generational QB and he still couldn’t even get to the ACC Championship Game.

Let’s not fool ourselves. Next year with an upgraded schedule and Cam’s departure, I see 7-5. I wonder what Vegas will have us at.
