Nesta is the only recruit I see us landing. Man this board is going to meltdown. The way things are trending this might be one of the recruiting finishes in a long time.

I just wanted to clear I understand your thought process here. In your opinion getting two official visits from elite players who most thought wouldn't set foot on our campus a few weeks ago constitutes a negative trend?

There just visits. Every recruiting analyst is saying we have little to no shot. I understand anything can happen but I just don't see it. I see us finishing with Nesta, Chatman and ezzard. If that happens then we really didn't have a strong finish at all because nesta has been a lock for awhile and we are already loaded at WR. Good class just not a great finish but I hope im wrong.

To get guys to visit the last week is Big. I normally hate the last weekend visit before NSD because guys usually cancel or commit to other schools before hand. They have no reason for a free trip as they are already in Miami. If they come on Friday and stay till Sunday, I like our odds.

Maybe they just owe it to all there friends and family begging them to go here so they decided to take a visit?

Whats with kids now a days using all these faqqit smileys. Back in my day someone would throw you a beating for typing like that. Keep in mind I just graduated from UM 3 years ago so it wasn't that long ago.

Cane fan in Atlanta here. Back when Richt was at UGA, he used to intentionally prolong the drama so that Georgia could get loads of coverage on NSD. I'm hoping that we are in for a "shock the world" moment with ALL 4 HORSEMEN!

He learned that from Bobby Bowden .. When Bowden was at FSU, he "miraculously" had the best "finish" on Signing Day seemingly every year. The media would always gush about what a great Closer Bowden was. When in reality, he would tell his recruits to be Silent Commits and not go public

Bobby was the master of the silent commit. You can say he invented it.

I just don’t understand the purpose of these kids . Im 24 now so I guess it’s easy for me to look back and say now but if I was a recruit and knew where I was going I wouldn’t even waste my time playing games like this, especially a week before signing day . What does the recruit get out of **** like this ? Nothing but crazy *** fans of other teams in their twitter mentions. I don’t get it and Nesta ain’t seem like the type but I guess everybody ain’t built the same

Got to be tough being a coach... put all this work in to watch the last few pieces of an otherwise perfect puzzle play games... if I’m a coach, once I get these kids to finally sign the papers... you doing suicides 10-1 for every night you kept me up.
Class we have signed as is will sling shot this program into a consistent top 10. Few more of these with the coaches we got we will be top 5 with a playoff chance EVERY YEAR

I don’t think emojis were out back then . I don’t remember really seeing them til high school around when everybody started getting iPhones/ iPod touches around 08/09 . I just thought the comment about getting beat up over something silly like that was funny

Yeah I know what you're talking about. But it's kind of gone from a bunch of strange emojis with an unlimited supply that no one uses to a standard, limited set. With technology progressing as fast as it is I could see us having completely different proprieties than kids 7 years than us.

PS2: Finalists are alabama, clemson, LSU, and us. Said he would go where he feels most at home and is looking forward to checking out our campus this weekend.

Amazing. This makes me feel more confident about the 5 star DBs than the linemen who I thought were near locks. Guess we'll see how that all plays out
