Duke Johnson rushed for 176 in a win against dook

2013
Pitt RB rushed for 173 in a win against dook

They didnt have Duke, but they had a Dukesque performance.
Oh, you're talking about THE James Conner.

Dallas ran for 115 that day. He led our team in TD's for the year. We weren't 60 additional yards away from winning that day.

In other words…Duke's presence wouldn't have effected the outcome on that day in your opinion. Case closed.

2013--Miami rushed for 186 yards against Duke.

2012 we had 248, with Duke.

Your argument was about what Pitt did in 2013. You mentioned they had a Dukesque performance because they rushed for 173. We rushed for more than they did in 2013. You want to go back to 2008 next?

OMG, you just sunk my battleship.

I cant compete with your breadth of intellect so I'll just bow out now.

We had 565 yards of total offense. 1 single turnover v Duke, 379 yards passing, 186 yards rushing at 6.4 a carry. Duke Johnson was not changing the outcome of that game. It was all Dorito. We had more yards than Duke and like i said 1 turnover so we didnt giveaway the game. They took it by running for 358 yards and we couldnt stop it. Including having the backup QB run for 4 TDs. It boggles the mind. It was all Dorito's defense

Saying Duke couldn't have changed the outcome of a game that was tied going into the 4th quarter is insane. Yes, the defense was literally dog ****…but I can't agree that someone that dynamic can't create something that otherwise wasn't created in his absence.
Duke Johnson's win football games, period.

He was not winning that game, No way no how. I don't care how many ways u say it. If one team runs for over 300 yards and they are not GT or Navy type offense...they are winning the game period! Duke QB just went into the endzone as i typed that

Morris had to throw the **** ball 49 times. Having Duke changes the entire offensive philosophy of that game. With what was on the line, he probably would have been returning kicks as well.

Losing Duke didnt change the offense, having to play catch up to Duke did. They had the ball the whole **** game. We had to throw it or we would have just ran the clock down. We still ran it 29 times for 6.4 yards a carry. Keep spinning. Our defense loss the game period. 358 yards rushing

The thing I remember most about that game was the way that Conette just walked through our defense for those 4 TDs. It looked like we completely gave up. It got to the point where he was taking shotgun snaps and just walking right up the middle untouched.

He put up Heisman numbers that day. Just like Logan Thomas the week before and practically every QB we play.
