A name I’m told will be visiting Miami after the dead period

Not sure, they're shopping for a star linebacker, this wouldn't effect Hayes or Aguirre.
They brought in the OSU kid too, so we'll see.

On snap counts for the younger guys, Barry Jackson's article in the Herald:

▪ On defense, among the freshmen, safety Zaquan Patterson played 32 snaps, linebacker Cam Pruitt 14, defensive tackle Justin Scott 12, safety Dylan Day 7 and defensive lineman Armondo Blount 5. (As we noted last week, Blount already had played in four games, but a new NCAA rule allowed him to play in the bowl without burning his redshirt.) ▪ UM’s playing time allocation was notable at several positions.

Two NFL-bound veterans who played a lot this season played modest snaps: edge player Tyler Baron (22) and linebacker Jaylin Alderman (3).

UM went linebacker heavy, using Wesley Bissainthe for 57, Francisco Mauigoa 51, Raul Aguirre 46, Chase Smith 18 and Pruitt 14. Bissainthe allowed all four passes thrown against him to be caught for 31 yards, including two touchdowns.

Seriously. Is Bissainthe and Alderman returning and expected to start?

I literally don't understand what the **** we are doing at LB. Wes hasn't known what the **** he's doing for literally 2 seasons now. And we all know **** well he is not going to get his snaps reduced next year. And given how much Chase Smith just played ( even though he was also bad and the young guys like Pruitt and Popo or **** just throw Bobby and hayes in there to see if they can do anything positive!), I'm going to assume Alderman is going to see a bunch of snaps still...

Like are we going to ever let the young LBs play or not? If we are going to bring in a LB who they veiw as a difference maker can we process guys out that aren't?
Anything outside of an offensive line……Mario ain’t developing ****

Between him and sir spit a lot that we just picked up, sounds like we are really doing our homework.

Don’t understand this one, but I’m starting to realize I don’t understand vast majority of the decisions we make nowadays so 🤷🏾‍♂️. We will see one of the young pups probably leave before the season if not more than 1 if we bring this guy in. I expect Smith to move on too, JMO.
I’m all for Smith moving on.

But agree, doesn’t make much sense

1 is gone and 31, and hopefully Alderman , Chase Smith move on as well…jags..
Need new blood next year. Play the young guys and throw in a couple of transfers.

We need all the help we can get!

They need to, that LB room is not proven what so ever. Bobby just got hurt and it looks pretty significant, Pruitt and Hayes are unproven talent, Wesley mid Aguirre could as well be mid as well. Not a good room if u r trying to get to the levels of the likes of Georgia and terrible recruiting this cycle at that position. Only signed Wiley.

I've been waiting to see Chase play after all these years and 2 things immediately stood out to me..
- He looks much bigger than his 210 listed weight.
- I didn't see the instincts needed to be successful at the linebacker position.

I want to see more of Pruitt. I don't understand why he isn't getting more run.

This guy would be a great signing. He can take on the role of team's biggest ****** since Jacolby George is officially gone.
