I’m just comparing his time at ole miss vs ole miss’ previous 3 years (apple to apples). Not making any commentary on whether the numbers are good or bad (just giving context). I excluded this years class bc it’s not finished.

It's pretty much finished on the HS side. And on the transfer side, Ole Miss is sitting at 13th. So how much higher do you think they can go? Do you think they will have the #2 rated transfer class again? Because they sure as **** are not gonna move far from the 36th ranked HS/JuCo class.

Look, just being honest, I think Ole Miss can sign MORE Portal transfers, but I don't think they will crack the Top 10 Portal Class ranking now that everyone else is chasing Portal transfers just as hard. And I think Miami passes Ole Miss on the Portal class ranking if we have a similar number of signees.

Freeze’s first 3 years he went 7-6, 8-5, 9-4 (61.5%). His next year he went 10-3. It will take a miracle for Lane to hit that next year especially given the schedule (@bama, lsu (back to back), a&m, @Georgia (back to back))

U can’t sustain cfb dominance with a so called genius play caller as your HC. Sure u will have good seasons here and there but to stay atop u need an elite recruiter at HC. Would of been a disaster with him as HC for long term success. None of these kids we have come here even if we won 9 games. I think there will be. Remember Bama started loaded up after the bowl season. We need Portal help fa sho. Relying upon the classes of ‘22 & ‘23 would be irresponsible & foolish. That would mean we would need all true sophomores & freshmen to be CFB ready both physically & mentally.

Understood but if lane was doing what freeze was his classes would be even higher.

How many 5 stars did freeze get because of violations? Lane isnt getting that same benefit.
