9 wins, I'll take it

Yea the defense sucks, yea Dorito sucks. Nothing new, hopefully Golden realizes that.

But all things considered, losing Duke and Dorsett, it was a solid season.

If we had 11 wins but looked bad in a few games, almost lost in a couple of them but were lucky to win, same folks will bi*** and moan and be still miserable.

Duke & Coley being out had nothing do with our defensive scheme and all that ****.

Drives me nuts when poeple use records as a defense. Look at the play on the field and judge that. JUST LOOK. And then stop making ******* excuses because it's clear our D is flat out atrocious and there's absolutely no defense to how atrocious it is.

Season was a failure because we had two cracks at the Coastal against two mediocre/weak teams, and we got blown out both times. Inexcusable. Unacceptable. Failure.

Mark is going to coach the Bowl game, but they have to fire him shortly thereafter. Think logically. If UM raises the $7 million that it requires, it has top-20 facilities. Honestly, they do not need to be any better than that. The sanctions are behind us and they are improving. Logically speaking, they HAVE to fire D'Onofrio. If UM beat Duke, then he may have kept his job, but he is being let go after the bowl game. Think it through. It is the only logical outcome.

I thought your fake insider *** said Blake already fired him.

Chise, this is the same insider that 2 years ago on the Grassy baseball board proclaimed that UM was going to have an
excellent team based on winning their opening series against an "excellent" Rutgers baseball team.
Dude is loopy.

I didn't know that about that dope.

Don't forget that whole NCAA thing. The ultimate scapegoat I agree but you cannot ignore its significance.

STFU.

What does the NCAA have to do with losing to VT and Duke when the Coastal is on the line. **** outta here

Where in my post did I imply that the NCAA fiasco should be used as a rationale for losing to either of those teams? I simply said that the investigation was significant to the current state of the team. Take from that what you will.

F**k Golden too if he keeps that retarded mutha flucka... Remember its Goldens DEFENSE TOO...

After the 2013 college football regular season ended with a UM win over Pittsburgh, I decided to take a deeper look at the performance of the UM defense over the last three years under current defensive Coordinator Mark D'Onofrio. Here is D’Onofrio “By The Numbers”:

2011
Wins: 6
TFL: 73
Sacks: 24
Interceptions: 18
Games with 20+ points allowed: 7
30+: 2
40+: 0

2012
Wins: 7
TFL: 53
Sacks: 18
Interceptions: 11
Games with 20+: 8
30+: 7
40+: 4

2013
Wins: 9
TFL: 59
Sacks: 28
Int's: 18
Games with 20+: 9
30+: 5
40+: 3

Will you take 7 wins or 6 or 5 next year?

Because THAT is what "taking" 9 wins with the easiest schedule will will ever have in our history, with the weakest Coastal that is possible, this year means.

LOL! If Golden doesn't have the talent to stay within 3 TDS of Duke or VT this year, then what will he do with a QB that couldn't beat out Morris, a defense that is worse than this year, and losses from an OL that played like they bet on the opponents as often as not?

These guys who praise mediocrity this season cant wait to celebrate a 7 win season next year..... b/c it's Al Golden's 7 wins, it's a difference. YAY!

If this Miami team gets blown out again by ANYONE on the schedule next year, Golden needs to be fired.
