9 wins, I'll take it

lol. Acting like you guys are the only ones who find losing to Duke unacceptable. Get off your high horse dude.

We all know what we are lacking. And I am the last one that was defending Golden two weeks ago. But I'm **** sure not gonna be in constant ***** and complain mode, even after a win.

Lots of jimmies rustled in this thread.
I'll take 9 wins and you can enjoy a big bowl of "**** you".

I'll take that 9 wins with a grain of salt. This was the weakest schedule the University of Miami has had in a very very long time. Our wins come against a combined 37-64 record (one team with a +.500 record - GT). Three of those wins against that terrible competition were absolute dog fights. We got the doors blown off us by any team with a pulse (including DUKE(!!!) and a very average VT). If you're happy with 9 wins, cool. I wouldn't be though. Weakest 9 wins you'll ever see in college football.

Well we're a 5-7/6-6/7-5 type team next year so I don't know why anyone would be willing to accept this season.

It was nothing but a disappointment.

We should have beaten Duke and VT period. That is a failure on Golden's part.

Having said that....we were never going to win the ACC this year with Famous **** up there....so the point of winning the coastal is kinda moot (but not really...the championship experience is invaluable).

Now having said THAT, we might never win this conference with Dorito's ''500 yards is ok'' defensive strategy. This type of defense only works if you have the 85 bears type of talent.

Can't call a year where we got blown out by two mediocre teams (one being DUKE) a solid season. We're 9-3 because of an incredibly easy schedule.

FSU Schedule not much to crow about either, but for Clemson. No doubt had Duke, Dorsett and Morris been healthy things could have been different. Only fools could argue the NCAA didn't hamper recruiting. All all that up and 9-3 and a bowl is something to build on not to mention the road win in the cold.

Sure it "could have been better" and the D needs work but even you "f@ck Manny Fire Dorito" crowd has to admit with a stellar recruiting class lining up and this years record iOS better than the last three years....that's called progress.

Weakest schedule in my memory. Just abysmal.

9 wins against the trash we played this should have been the minimum.

But we ******* beat Florida and watched their season burn to the ground.....so I will take that.

FSU didn't have a great schedule, but they blew the doors of everyone they played including Clemson and us when both were ranked in the Top 10. Boston College is a good win and better than any win we will have on our schedule. The teams they beat were junk, but they did what good teams are supposed to do, destroy them and leave scorched earth in the process. The closest win they had all year was a 14 point win over BC in Chestnut Hill. Their second closest win was Miami by nearly four touchdowns.

We just allowed 501 yards to the 106th ranked offense in the country, got worse as the year went on, and **** ourselves in two ACC Coastal title games.

I'll sit out this parade.

9 wins with two of our biggest offensive weapons gone for half of the season. Not too shabby.

For those of you who don't like it, go tune into the USF-UCF game and start cheering for one of those teams. Come mierdas.

Cot **** some of you are so miserable. Who the **** is defending the defense or Dorito?

9 wins, I'll take it.

You take it. I don't accept losing to Dook or VT. With or without Duke we should beat them. Losing to Dook is never acceptable and losing to that terrible VT team isn't either.

Golden was running his mouth about playing 14 games this year, but he couldn't even win this sorry *** Coastal. This season is a failure even if we do win this bowl game and get 10 wins.

Gets it

You act like winning the coastal is done every other yr here or something. We have sucked the last ten yrs. give the man his chance.

Glad you two shortsighted morons could team up for that combo of awful posts.

I wonder if you were blowing each other with as much vigor after Shannon won 9 games in his third year.
