8 million NIL deal shiiiiiiiiiit

From my understanding it's pick and choose the terms on the contracts I've heard as short as by semester while majority seem to be yearly(renewal or termination rate). Maybe Pete or @apfenny3 could straighten that out.
Yeah the length of the term is completely negotiable. It can't be contingent upon enrollment within a university though, so in the example of Ewers he'd still get paid his full amount as long as he meets the deliverables on his end

So basically they can get around the university tie by making the deliverable require local appearances?

Example, Bum**** Alabama Crimson Dodge dealership sponsors the NIL. 5 Star QB signs for 10 mill but its contingent upon doing events at the local Tuscaloosa car lot every other week. 5 Star QB ends up at Ohio St and he cant make those appearances thus the contract is voided. Sound about right?

Correct. Obviously it would be in the student's best interest to negotiate as much as possible to just be social media posts and use of his likeness if he wants to keep a future transfer on the table and not risk breaking an NIL contract.
