Nole, IMO
Reverse personal psychology?
No.
He said something in the interview with Pete that stuck out to me. It sounded like he was basically using the FSU visit as an attempt to convince his Mother he'd be ok up there and it's a good place for him.
Doesnt his brother go to FAMU? They could be using the OV to visit his brother.

I hope that's all it is, but this is the quote below. The only visit he mentions bringing his Mom along with him, also.
Miami isn’t the only school that Thomas is heavily considering. He will take a visit to Florida State on January 25th.
“I just want to go and look at the campus a little more and show my mom everything as far as the classrooms, the weight rooms, and all that.”
I just feel like he's recruiting her to say yes. Hopefully I'm wrong as ****.

5X He's taking his mother to FSU for his visit. That's not playing the game and having fun. I have to assume that she's all Miami/Barrow and he leans FSU and wants Momma on board. Hard for me to be optimistic.I respectfully disagree w jhall here. I think he knows where he's going. Just having fun w the process. Him and Kirkland and the other Thomas and other kids from btw. A lot hinging on where he goes and while I don't believe in package deals, Kirkland and him don't have many schools in common. As jhall said, family and local school usually wins out.
Reasons to be optimistic
1. He goes to feeder school
2. Momma
3. Mia is lber u
4. Close to home
5. Loves barrow
6. Knows a lot of kids on team
7. Knows golden loves to play the freshman
8. Golden and his relentless pursuit ( he has stated Mia recruiting him hardest)
We definitely didn't collapse on the field this year.
I think Miami exceeded the expectations of many, including recruits.
This year I think could have only helped with recruiting in terms of the overall scheme and game play as well as recruits looking for early playing time.
Yup, and I am on the side that the bowl ban this year helps the incoming recruits.
It was important for Thomas to go to a winning program, or at least one like ours that has a bright (near) future. All we had to do was show were weren't going to get killed by the NCAA, and show we can hold our own on the field despite being young.
Go back and check Thomas' comments after we lost the FSU game. Spoken like a Cane fan IMO. There may have been a time where it was in doubt, but not anymore if I had to bet on it.
What did he say after the FSU loss? Can't recall... Thanks!
In thomas's day to day activities around his neighborhood and his day to day going to school and stuff, he's not seeing all the Bama stuff. If he ventures over to the tourist areas, he will.
I hardly watch local news so I'm not seeing it. He'll be back to school and his normal routine. U are over stating the fact that he will be just over exposed to car flags and Bama fans in south Florida.
